Do you guys think we'll ever get another BOBF set based on the finale because I really want a BOBF Cad Bane and Black Krrsantan.

Same. Apart from spoilery sets based on Mando S3 and Ahsoka, this is near the top of my wishlist. It‘s getting less and less likely, but there’s nothing preventing them from still doing it :shrug_oh_well:

Also, I’ve noticed that multiple sources have now reported on those mystery set numbers. I thought people were just making assumptions due to the gaps in-between the confirmed numbers, but this implies otherwise :classic:

I also think that when we get the filoni film the E-wing will probably feature again more prominently and chances are could have also featured more in that rangers of the new republic which was cancelled so the ship will be more prominent to the films/tv rather than just eu

I honestly think that we could get RotNR at some point with Carson and Zeb as two of the leads (along with a few appearances from Hera and Chopper).

The Rebels Thrawn figure is one of the worst cases of LEGO's poor design quality control, and it predates the current Clone problems. As a Legends fan, them getting his rank plaque wrong felt pretty insulting, similar to how their lack of care with the new Fox figure is insulting to CW fans.

I'd prefer it if they made the new figure not have any wear marks so that it could be used for Rebels Thrawn and also as a generic Grand Admiral torso.

On principle I agree and I even sympathize. As illustrated before that is not Lego's fault. And the figure came in a base line play set, not a UCS set. In this case I tend to be more lenient. (When it comes to Yularen, who was truly misprinted, there is no excuse). Lastly, let's be honest, it is not like the rank insignia in SW have been entirely consistent. ...to put it mildy.

And while I certainly want the 'correct' insignia next time, I still want the wear and tear - because I want Thrawn on the Chimera. Yes, it is awefully specific, and I totally understand the desire for a generic grand admiral. It is just that from my point of view, the whole atmosphere of the scene would be lost with a pristine uniform. It would be mismatched with the ragged Night Troopers.

Indeed. That is a even more of a problem when dealing with animated shows in which such details can be easily changed on the fly.

It seems to have been a last minute change not just for Rebels. The concept art of the Zahn novels also looked like this:

Wait you mean just the white instead of black legs right? Or is there another misprint I'm missing?

Wrong stud on the belt, missing cuff bands, missing shoulder straps being objective mistakes/omissions which I find inexcusable for a UCS set. In a play set I'd be fine with it.

Got the Venator built, its pretty hassle free moving it around as long as you watch out for the side cannons. There aren't any weak spots around where you want to put your hands, although there is a lot of play between the fore and aft hull plate sections. The build for the center ridge did get a little repetitive especially because it is the bag before Rex, but was otherwise fun. The minifigs look great IRL, despite the lack of kama Rex isn't nearly as bad as Fox (and I think I like him better than Cody because of the weird visor) and Yularen is Yularen, thumbs up for the dual molded legs!

I dearly hope so. I too want Krrsantan but more importantly for me, I want Boba's Rancor and the live action version of Cad Bane as well. Also, maybe we could get Boba in the correct armor color this time too. I think if there's a benefit to any potential lulls in content because of the strikes, it's a chance for LEGO to go back and revisit previous shows and seasons and give us at least one more set for each. The Battle of Mos Espa is at the top of my list and the Fonder Haulcraft is pretty high up there as well.

Yep, the Rancor, a Scorpenek droid, a building with a collapsable wall play feature and a bunch of minifigs should be a no brainer. The Haulcraft too. So if there is any delay with upcomming shows/sets it might turn out ot be positive and gives Lego the time and space to release some "missing" sets!

I always wonder if there's a stockpile of unreleased prototyps like for example the Haulcraft, that could easily be pulled from the vaults to be released?! I mean the Lego designers work on more projects than the sets that get eventually released, right?

great final episode. Don’t think there is much potential set wise I think at this point some characters will probably get shown in other shows/films in the future

I had the same thought! I could totally see the designers reacting to the Skeleton Crew delay by pushing back the set based on the ship from that show, promptly whipping out their sneaky little Fondor prototype a couple of them had been tinkering with since Andor came out, and fixing it up ready to release in that slot.

Have you guys noticed this figure in a new Lego campaign? He seems to have a piece that could be quite handy for a certain species…

Yeah, the hair piece would make nice Andorians from Star Trek! Just kiddin' :pir_laugh2:

The snail shell looks interesting  Does this peice exist in real life? But yeah, it's promising and with a short legged minifig...

We could always get a set based off my favorite scene/shot from the episode

Spoiler

UCS Baylan's only scene in the entire goddamned episode ($899.99): Massive set of statues of the Father, Son, and headless Daughter, with a Baylan minifigure.

But seriously, while I do have some gripes with the finale- the fact that the above is the ONLY such scene/shot in the episode of that,

Spoiler

sabine using the force, and the fact that lightsabers are baseball bats- fine when it still kills them, but chopping up zombie troopers would have been very helpful!

, it was a great show overall with lots more material for sets and figures. I could see a few potential playsets off of Perida or the map site from ep4, as well as the Chimera, Morgan's shuttle, Baylan/Shin's old shuttle, a playset with Sabine's speeder and home, etc.

Savior, conqueror, hero, villian. You are all of these things, Revan... and yet you are nothing. In the end, you belong to neither the light nor the darkness. You will forever stand alone.

With all the potential for delays following the strikes I was wondering about this too. has lego ever done this before for a licensed theme?

The 2021 Infinity Saga sets in Marvel were designed and produced because covid pushed back the release date of Eternals.

The show makes some odd choices and I somewhat wish there was more to the ending, but I’d also be lying if I said I didn’t feel satisfied with the conclusion. Of course there’s an emotional attachment that I suppose comes from my love of TCW / Rebels but even so, I just appreciate the heart that this show has. I really am placing a lot of hope in next summer for more spoiler sets.

Minifig-wise, the finale has some potential, even though the screentime of what I'm referring to wasn't exactly high.

A Zombie Deathtrooper? GIMME

:moar:

As I keep saying every week, we NEED more sets in 2HY. Anything else would be downright criminal
