Andor/Kenobi/TBoBF fans are starving and ST/RO/Solo fans can play xylophone on their ribs now. Rebels/Resistance fans are compost.

To be fair, out of all the things you listed, most of those were one-and-done type things that I wouldn’t expect more sets from regardless. If it’s not from the main saga, The Clone Wars or any current Star Wars media (specifically films and shows; Lego drags their feet when it comes to video games or anything else), I would have very low expectations for anything substantial. Andor is still running and TBOBF is rumored to be getting a second season, so those are likely to get more sets in the next couple years. The ST will probably get more sets in a few years when the kids who grew up with those films want to see representation for that era, just as the prequel fans do now.

Everything else you mentioned was already fairly well-covered or is just not relevant at this time. Or in the case of Rebels, Lego made a bunch of irrelevant sets that bombed and completely killed the subtheme (and to this day, they still seem ambivalent when it comes to making animation sets for anything besides TCW) with a lot of those sets ironically becoming somewhat high-priced on the second market. (Still salty about that…)

This is the set that most intrigues me.   And part of it has me thinking that this set is actually a different set, specifically I am thinking it is an MBS set and not a playset.  There are a number of factors leading me to that conclusion.  The first is the number of rumoured mini figures.  12 is a lot of figures, and as you said, we haven't seen that many figures in any playset before.  Other MBS type sets have had between 15 and 27 figures.  The largest system set that I can think of had 10 minifigures in it (Jabba's Palace) or 15 (for the droid carrier).  Most have no more than 7 figures in them.  Second is the theme.  If it really is just the celebration scene, what is the "play" value in the scene?  I cannot see one that would engage a child for more than like 20 minutes.  "Oh here are the heros, and they get an award.  Now what else can I do?"  That just doesn't seem to be Lego's MO on these type of things.  There always seems to be a greater play aspect to it.  In contrast MBS and UCS don't always have to have a lot of play to them.  Granted some do.  So this actually being the fall MBS/UCS set (or even the May one) makes a lot of sense to me.  Now if it did include something from RO or Rebels then I think it would have more value as playset.

I like your thinking but if this set is anything like that concept model from several years ago, I’d say there’s a decent amount of play value. You can recreate the medal ceremony, there’s probably going to be the rebel command center and there’s a hanger with a miniature Y-Wing. That seems like enough to me, especially if kids already have other sets like the Falcon or X-Wing to go with it. We also know that the fall D2C is going to be over $600, which a Yavin base would never cost that much unless they were including multiple non-chibi style ships with it. This set sounds more like Vader’s Castle than a MBS set to me, though they might as well all fit under that label.

We already know that there’s going to be no Rebels or RO figures here unfortunately. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw those two in one of the Ahsoka sets though, since they already revealed the appearance of both characters at Celebration last year.

That would be nice, but @FoggyFate said that the Minifigs would only be from ANH. 😐

Getting caught up:

 - Yavin IV is absolutely going to include Rebel Fleet Troopers; I am not sure why this is even a discussion.
 - Yoda’s starfighter is a pass for me unless it has a vastly better design compared to the previous iteration (which I have), or is based on BF2.
 - The ISP being $25 and 108 pieces means that it will probably have fewer than four Minifigs, opening up the possible Clone units that could be featured (since it would not need to feature a Commander or Jedi). I am curious about what is contributing to the weird PPP, though; while I would like it to be due to the inclusion of a decent number of Minifigs (essentially a second Battle Pack), I think that the use of large curved parts is more likely. 😕

I’m talking about the printing being all stylized to make it seem like it’s animated with those weird grey cheeks. No other Lego Star Wars figures have those weird concave chest curves, and it makes the clones look completely out of place. I don’t completely hate the new helmet mould with holes, but it’s just laziness from Lego, and contributes to the clone figures looking bad. (Cody with his comically oversized visor, rangefinders being at wonky angles and locations) In trying to make a helmet mould that worked for both Cody and regular P2 clone troopers, they made one that worked well for neither.
And like yeah, the clones do look like they’re trying to be clones, but Lego doesn’t deserve a pat on the back for the figures having a passable resemblance to the characters they’re attempting to portray.

If you like the clone design I love that for you, it’s just not something that I can personally stand, and certainly not something I’d personally want to spend money on.

Ok fair enough

This seems to have slipped under the radar, so I don’t if it’s legit or not, but the Instagram account cyberfig posted an image of an updated Din Djarin figure with printing on his Beskar helmet to match the Durasteel one from the UCS Razor Crest. Presumably this will be coming in one of the May sets, along with that other leaked Mandalorian figure from last week.

I though his helmet was always beskar?

Maybe it was. I just know it’s shinier and more reflective after he gets the makeover in Chapter 3, which is why Lego uses different colors for the helmet depending on which version it is.

With some D2C from other themes leaking (Batman), I wonder if we will finally get some May UCS news.

I sure hope so. It'd be nice to know soon if it's one to skip or save for, knowing there are some half-dozen large, pricey D2Cs from other themes and I need to start deciding where the little $$ I have is going

While I don't think it's entirely out of the question, I seriously doubt Yavin will ever be made as an MBS. It's iconic, but I don't think it's that iconic. It being a larger playset seems perfect for it since they'll be able to recreate the most iconic elements of it without needing to devote a ton of pieces to the outside (which would no doubt drive up the price a ton). I could be totally off base (pun not intended), but Yavin just doesn't strike me as something that would sell really well an as MBS, and I don't think it needs to be that big to be done justice either.

I can’t believe the UCS set is seriously X-Wing 3.0😐 but at least the Luke minifigure looks amazing with Duel molded legs and arm printing.

Man now I have to bricklink Luke like I did 3P0

Same here, I’ve never bought a UCS/MBS set but the hyper-detailed figures they include absolutely slap. This, 3PO, Bespin Han, Slave I Boba, and Razor Crest Mando.

Oh boy, I hope it's radically improved since the last one. I was never very impressed by either of the previous UCS X-wings, but the state of the art has advanced so much since 2013 that they could really do a terrific job on the next one if they tried.

I have no interest in buying a UCS X-Wing, but I'm interested in seeing it. The piece count is enough of a jump from the 2013 version that I'm hoping for a much higher level of detail.

That said... maybe I'm alone here, but the Luke figure really doesn't do it for me. The arm printing looks nice but isn't a first for Rebel pilots, and honestly the boots kind of clutter the design imo. They don't really add much and don't blend well with the existing print. Not impressed.

Wow, has it really been 10 years since the last UCS X-Wing??

I’m eager to see what the redesigned model looks like. Sets have come a long way over the last 10 years, and I expect some heavy improvements over the 2013 version.

And for the love of all things holy…PLEASE give us a printed cockpit canopy this time.

Mixed feelings about this. Would have much preferred a Vader TIE remake as it's been even longer since the previous one, and this is now the third UCS Luke X-wing. Would have been nice if they made Wedge Antilles' or Antoc Merrick's so it's not just the exact same ship a third time.

But it's also been a decade since the previous one was released, which now costs a fortune on the secondary market. Parts and building techniques have also improved a lot since then, so this new one should hopefully have more accurately sized engines and a hexagonal fuselage.

This, and a more accurate cockpit windscreen, please. Even in 2013, the 2013 model wasn't state-of-the-art.

I would've preferred Blue over Red Squadron though.

Printed at the very minimum. 2013 windscreen had stickers from hell.

Same, hence why I mentioned Antoc Merrick. Might be possible to modify it, assuming the parts exist in the correct colours.
