Yes that crossed my mind; redesign with (perhaps) some new parts since price is IMHO to low for 2 engine firefighter plane like Canadair cl-415 or newer... 42151 is probably pullback Peugeot (like Liebherr) could feature differential from Ferrari Daytona Quote

Perhaps I have come full circle and no longer have use for new sets, that aren't completely innovative. Quote
LvdH Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 Here is the Promobricks article translated (very roughly) in English: Quote 42146 Liebherr LR 13000 We've already reported a lot about the LEGO Technic 42146 Liebherr LR 13000 this year and probably talked about it more often in our LEGO Technic streams on YouTube. The largest crane in the world will also be a real giant in LEGO form, but apparently it will be a little smaller than the designers originally imagined. While we initially assumed a price of around 600 euros, the set should now “only” cost around 450 euros. Of course, this price can change until the official release, which will probably not take place before summer, but rather in autumn 2023. Incidentally, we can now confirm that the relatively low number of parts of 2882 is actually due to the fact that LEGO used a lot of new 7×17 knob-sized molded parts for the lattice masts of the crane, which drives the price up and the number of parts down. There will also be 20 new elements that add up to a 1kg counterweight. The discrepancy between price and number of parts (over 20 cents per part) can probably also be explained to some extent by the use of a large number of electronic Control+ elements. There will be a total of 6 motors and 2 Smarthubs in the set, and the crane will be controlled via the Control+ app. Set number: 42146 Designation: [Liebherr LR 13000] Number of parts: 2882 Release date: 2023 RRP: 449.99 euros 42147 Dump Truck The first set of LEGO Technic 2023 novelties, which is expected to be released as early as January, will be 42147 Dump Truck. The set is one of the popular 10-euro models and is sure to be one of the fans' favourites. In addition, the set should be equipped with a B model. Set number: 42147 Designation: dump truck Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 9.99 euros 42148 Snowcat Another set in the 10-euro range is the snow groomer. This set should also be equipped with a B model and be able to show one or more functions with just a few parts. Set number: 42148 Designation: snow groomer Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 9.99 euros 42149 Monster Jam Dragon The Monster Jam Monster Trucks with pull-back motors will also continue in 2023, now in their third year. The first new monster truck will be the Monster Jam Dragon. Except for a pull-back motor, you shouldn't expect any functions here. After all, there will probably be a B model again. Set number: 42149 Title: Monster Jam Dragon Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 19.99 euros 42150 Monster Jam Monster Mutt Dalmation The second monster truck will be the Monster Jam Monster Mutt Dalmation. Here, too, pull-back motor and B-model are considered set. The vehicle in Dalmatian optics will certainly have a lot of stickers to show the mouth and the dotted optics. Set number: 42150 Name: Monster Jam Monster Mutt Dalmation Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 19.99 euros 42151 Bugatti Bolide The big LEGO Technic 42083 Bugatti Chiron will be available at the end of the year. Nevertheless, Bugatti fans do not have to worry, because in 2023 there will be direct supplies. A set called Bugatti Bolide appears in the 50-euro class. It will be a black and yellow version. Again, you shouldn't hope for too many functions, in the best case the doors can be opened and a running motor is built. The pull-back motors appearing this year will probably no longer exist. Set number: 42151 Designation: Bugatti Bolide Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 49.99 euros 42152 Fire Fighter Plane One of the highlights of the LEGO Technic 2023 novelties of the first half of the year will most likely be the fire engine. Although we can rule out a motorization due to the price of almost 100 euros, the set is predestined to be able to offer various Technic functions. Set number: 42152 Designation: Firefighting aircraft Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 99.99 euros 42153 NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Another car in the €50 class will be the LEGO Technic 42153 NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which will be colorfully designed to reflect its function as a racing car. We wouldn't be surprised if a lot of stickers were used for sponsor logos on the white, black, blue and red cars. You shouldn't hope for any real functions here either, and we don't know anything about a pull-back motor either. Set number: 42153 Designation: NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 49.99 euros 42154 2022 Ford GT Another highlight of the LEGO Technic 2023 innovations is likely to be the 2022 Ford GT, which will cost almost 120 euros. The car is dark blue with white rally stripes on the hood. In addition to the usual functions such as doors and a buildable engine, there will probably also be a hand-of-god control. Set number: 42154 Designation: 2022 Ford GT Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 119.99 euros 42155 The Batman Batcycle Surprise! In fact, there 's a direct sequel to this year 's LEGO Technic 42127 Batman's Batmobile . The motorcycle that Robert Pattinson drives as Batman in the current Batman strip will cost around 50 euros. We don't know anything about the functions so far, but the renewed use of light bricks to represent the lighting of the vehicle would be conceivable. Set number: 42155 Designation: The Batman Batcycle Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 49.99 euros 42156 Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar The most expensive set of the LEGO Technic 2023 novelties of the first half of the year will be the Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar, which is the direct successor of the 42141 McLaren F1 Race Car at a price of around 200 euros . The functions should therefore also be comparable. We're betting on a functioning steering system, suspension, a revolving piston engine and possibly a gearbox. Set number: 42156 Designation: Peugeot 9×8 Hypercar Number of parts: ? Release date: 2023 RRP: 199.99 euros Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 "Knob-sized". Heh-heh! Ahh, I'm so mature... Nice to hear the tiny, tiny, tiny sets are likely to have B-models, along with the Monster Jam trucks. I'm pumped for those. Meh to all else. Meh! Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 (edited) Why does the list sound like a rerun of 2022 1H to me Am I old and jaded or does the 1H list sound kinda uninspiring Edited August 26, 2022 by Ngoc Nguyen Quote

Ngoc Nguyen Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 I think this is the only year in which the 2H flagship is leaked 1 year in advance No point in guessing it until 2024. Quote
howitzer Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 The plane could be good. Other than that this is really uninteresting lineup. Those little sets are probably great for their size, but I like bigger stuff, and all the others are again models of things that have no point beside going fast, so I guess I'll just keep looking forward to 2H releases. Ngoc Nguyen Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 The Peugeot might bring back the curved panels from 42113. Quote

Yes, that could be an interesting set, if the small sets are just slightly modified versions of their predecessors then it’s boring. But I’m happy if they achieve the quality of this year’s Telehandler! Quote
Akbalder Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 The Firefighter Aircraft is the only one that makes me want. What size can we expect for 100€? I've bought 3 of the previous monster jam trucks and planed to buy the fourth one. But if the collection keeps getting bigger, I'm not sure that I will keep buying them. Quote
MarkyMark42 Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 Looking forward to the Peugeot if for nothing more than a shelf queen next to the rest of cars. It could also serve as a nice update to the 42039 LeMans car. Hopefully they stick with the grey and bright green highlights Quote
Jundis Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 The 42153 Ford GT is something odd. For 119,99€ it can't be 1:10 like the 42096 and 42125 but also not 1:14 like the 50-60€ cars. So seems like a new scale 1:12 with 19...21 studs width? Following questions would be: What wheel would fit? Maybe the same as 42125, but then there would be no double wishbone suspension, unless we get new CV elements? 49 minutes ago, Akbalder said: What size can we expect for 100€? Little bit smaller than 42025, with retailled at 125€ Quote

More than 300 combined pieces of FUNction! Ehm and the other models come with ehm STEERING! And ehm .. fake engines and gearboxes! Completely new stuff never done before! Look! Much Technic! Such Whoa!" *Edit: It comes to my mind, that Technic seems to rely on the community nowadays to fix the problems of certain models. It's like with some video games pumped out as beta-version of finished games and publishers rely on community MODs to finish up the selled product for free. Edited August 27, 2022 by Jundis Quote
Dami Posted August 27, 2022 Author Posted August 27, 2022 Its not good that we are getting six cars, one motorcycle and rest are cool sets, but two of them are 10$.... Quote
