Looks like we can expect black wheel arch on 7L or 11L

Yea, new panels are fine, but much better are connectors or element for movement transferring.

Apparently 42159 will be a Yamaha MT. Considering the price point ($250) it's probably the successor to the BMW bike.

If it’s the same scale as the BMW without 80ish stickers then I’m all for that. I personally like the black/turquoise colour scheme. Although it will definatly be a ‘buy from Amazon when it’s on sale’ if it is indeed the same price with 400 pieces less…

Hmm if the rumour is true, then either the price OR the piece count is off. 17 Cent per piece is more in the range of pneumatic or even rc models...

*Edit: And just one year after the BMW is a really strange move..

I mean instead you could get the 42158 AND 42160, left with RC and over 500 pieces more...?

42146 Liebherr LR 13000  $449.99  2,883  August 2023
42156 Peugeot 9X8 Hypercar  $199.99  1,775  May 2023
42157 Skidder John Deere 948L-II  $174.99  1,492  June 2023
42158 NASA Perseverance Mars Rover  $89.99 1,132  June 2023
42159 Yamaha MT 2022  $249.99  1,475  June 2023
42160 Audi RS Q e-tron  $159.99  913  August 2023
42161 Lamborghini Hurrican  $49.99  806  August 2023

I think the 1:5 bike series will be similar to the 1:8 Supercar series, having a new set every 2 years between the cars, and maybe the BMW was a testing how it will sell, hence the early release of the Yamaha.

42162 Bugatti Bolide Agile Blue 905 pieces  49,99€     01.08.2023 ( I heard about a June release so it might release sooner)

From Promobricks

Will be there any later releases than August? Not that it wouldn't be enough..but seeing the scattering of sets, and "surprise" announcings, it's just a matter of time we get used to it.

Where did you find it on promobricks?

Sounds like another set which releases in a second color, like the fiat 500, yellow and blue🤔

Liebherr 679.99€!!!!!!!

Don't worry. You will be able to get it for € 579,99 in no-time

Wow, if that part count and price are correct, there would better be some really fancy new parts. I mean, something like a hub with rechargeable battery with more ports than 4, lighting kit included, etc.

That would be the only "reasonable" explanation. Otherwise, it's complete bollocks.

I'm not planning to get it; I'm stuck with PF generation, despite that - physio therapy for my pet cost me twice the Liebherr price and when I must chose between pets and Lego, peys are priority...

It was a tongue in cheek comment.

I have noticed it... I know it is meant as fun...but still it is very expensive. I'm certain that there will be interesting new parts in Liebherr but they could be ordered separately when needed...

The complete January / March Technic and Speed Champions lineup can be bought for ~590 EUR at retail price... there's no way this thing's price can be justified if it is true.

I mean, I can imagine stuff that in principle could justify the price. Something like a new hub with capabilities similar to the RI hub, lighting kit, extension cables, new metal hook, many many new frames and counterweight parts, perhaps a new motor with power similar to the buggy motor or at least PF XL motor, etc.

But I don't think any of these will happen, except maybe the frames and counterweights.

That was my other reasonable guess regarding that recently discovered new item (previous page) with number 88013 (which is close to other PU motors and batteries) and dimensions about 10 x 11 x 6 studs (which maybe the box dimensions).

You mean 88019 ;) Theoretically it can be anything as the large Mindstorms Technic hub's number is 88016 so this range is not only reserved for motors and accessories. I'm not sure though that creating yet another hub for the platform would be really a step in the right direction.
