I still can't believe Lego hasn't made a Wolf yet, they're a super popular animal. Akita and the Wargs don't count. Yeah, It's kind of a mystery why Lego has not made a wolf yet Quote

I mean, I know you enjoy vehicles when I prefer City theme to focus on buildings and sceneries. But I know desginers will keep giving us more vehicles. But I would gladly pick up Gaming Tourament Van becuase it sounds so interesting, not like we hae seen before. 9 hours ago, Roebuck said: Lego has released Friends and Avatar sets so hopefully City are not far behind. Lego City has a incredible number of animals the 2 last years so existing to see if they can keep it up next year Agreed. I’m quite looking forward for the animals in the new sets! I won’t be surprised that there would be no new animal molds like we got kitten and squirrel molds earlier this year. Quote

OK so basically a German shop just teased 2 New 2023, the video showing both got deleted but I could see it in time, basically it showed the corner of 60374 and it showed a bit of a nature build and the rabbit from the Missions set( i know its not a rabbit but I Don t know the name sorry) The shop also said they will reveal the sets soon It's amazing, reminds me of a Mercedes unimog https://www.instagram.com/p/Ck6DYHDOwL5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Edited November 13, 2022 by Powered by Bricks Quote
Classic_Spaceman Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 The truck looks good, from what I can see; it seems nicely-detailed, and I like the addition of white and reduction of neon yellow to accent stripes. 👍 Also, what looks like a clever use of this piece for the rear mudguards. Quote

I hope the sets has more than that because I don't think that a 502 piece set will just include a truck, but enough of that part, I really like the truck it's a big upgrade compared to the 2021 era of the fire trucks (I liked this year's trucks) its full of details and equipment it also looks like it has a new version of the projectile launcher with this one being shorter, the moving arm at the front doesn't look bad and it also looks like you can switch it with a winch, if LEGO does this great work with the other sets I might grab the full subtheme. Also one thing I would like to mention is that this truck look a lot like one of my home town's fire engine. (it's a off road Mercedes unimog equipped to help fight fires in forests) Quote

The Island Chronicles Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 The fire truck is okay. But it seems to be too big for the loading guage of my town. So I'm going to pass. Quote
Lion King Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 That fire truck looks nice, i don’t see it as that big. But it’s so nice to see another hare showing up in that set! I hope there would be a few new animal molds. One or two will do fine. Recolored animals are good, we really need an otter mold! Quote

Otherwise, I'd question the need for so many. Quote
brimbolet Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Oh, finally the first glimpses of the new sets! However the 60374 fire truck is apparently 55€, just 5€ short of the new and bigger 60320 fire station! Lego has to do better than to pull a single hare out of a hat to make me buy this... Quote

As a child in the 90s I would have LOVED a monster truck set. So maybe 25 years later children like monster trucks still. 36 minutes ago, brimbolet said: Oh, finally the first glimpses of the new sets! It really does not seem that big; it is eight studs wide including the wheels, and slightly taller than the truck that comes with the 2022 fire station. Overall, it seems to be roughly the same scale as 60276, albeit a bit longer. Quote

If you're a town builder and you want it for your town then go right ahead. I'm just saying for my town and my town alone. In my town, no truck exceeds the loading guage of the fire engine in set number 60216. With that being said, any vehicle that has any wheels bigger than those doesn't go into my town. I understand it seems rigid, but that's just how I am when it comes to my town. Quote

Well if anything, Lego has been doing a lot of trucks similar to that one lately. So I certainly wouldn't call it out of scale with other City vehicles. Personally, I was hoping it would be similar to the 60002 Fire Truck from 2013. Edited November 14, 2022 by Poodabricks Quote
The Island Chronicles Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 All the same, for 2023 I'm setting low standards as far as buildings and infrastructure is concerned. The vehicles, I know will be nice enough for the next wave. Quote
