Hey all, after 5 long years most of my bricks have followed me across the Pacific from California to New Zealand and I can start building again. I have always been interested in building castle/fantasy, and am excited to see the lion knights, black falcons, and forest people show up in new sets again.

What's Lego's brick selection service like? Is Bricklink still the way to go? I just picked up the medieval black smith and forest hideout sets, looking at the lion knights 90th anniversary castle next.

How is everyone? Have some mocs...

It really depends on what you are after. The online PAB recently merged with Bricks and Pieces which has lead to changes, partly good but mainly bad especially concerning availability of parts. It still pays to price check what you are after, especially if you are after bulk parts.

I’m a recent AFOL (well new in the sense that I’ve returned to building and collecting only just recently even though I’ve always had fond memories of LEGO and quite frequently would take a detour down the LEGO aisle of the department store) so aren’t really all that caught up on things myself, but I thought I would comment on how great your MOCs look. Kudos on the great work.

Selection is limited in PAB, so a lot of times you'll be forced to use Bricklink. Just do your best to buy from stores with reasonable shipping rates, and try not to spread your purchases across multiple stores.
