September 17, 20222 yr The light company and the scenery looks good, but the photos could be better. It would be much more interesting if I could see the faces better. I see on Flickr that you took the photos with a Canon EOS 550D. Photographing minifigures has always been very difficult for me with a camera. Most of the time, very few faces were clearly recognizable. Most were blurry and indistinct. I had to take a very lot of photos to only be able to choose 2-4 good photos. In my last topic I noticed that my mobile phone iPhone 11 takes better pictures of the minifigures than my Sony DSC-RX100 camera. What do you think, do you want to try again to take new photos?

Yeah the faces could be better. I'll try to make some better pictures. Thank you for your feedback 👍

September 19, 20222 yr I like the scene - you've got some nice posing going for an excellent action shot. The landscape is simple but effective. And who doesn't like a company of redoats! One thing I would like to see in future builds is how this fits into the larger picture of bobs. Is it a painting in the house of a former officer? Part of a training exercise? Or perhaps part of an ongoing or former campaign? On 9/17/2022 at 11:47 PM, MetallFanYT said: I'll try to make some better pictures. I was advised to take the photos from further away and then zooming in, as that gives less distortion of the perspective and better depth of field. That may be worth experimenting with. Or just google "product photography". There you may find some tips and tricks that are easy to implement.
