Ahh the Vampyre Castle @ 100. I thought you meant the Haunted House and I got very excited. On the front page they have the Mines of Moria set listed at $48, but when you go to the link it is $88

Many thanks for the tip off, grabbed a couple of sets for Xmas. Also notice the City Fire Plane on online sale as well $48 bucks so grabbed one of them as well.

Cheers for that. She was giving me the cheaper price before I even finished what I was asking for, knew the set and everything. I grabbed a couple. She said they had people trying to order lots of 20 or so but they wouldn't allow it, most they could really look at was 5 or so.

They are only allowing orders of 1 now. I tried to buy 2 & by the time they went to process the order, they had sold out.

Grabbed the Vampire Castle set for $100 at Big W Mirrabooka in WA; there are about 5 or 6 sets left. I haven't seen it anywhere else, and its not on the Lego Shop anymore, so if anyone wants to get one now's the time.

Woohoo... glad I got in this morning when they still allowed two. The grey parts will be great for my modular MOC!

Quite frankly, I wouldn't know. You could search eBay, but that might be expensive. I won mine from a Lego Club survey in '07. Anyone remember that?

BTW, I don't think we're meant to talk about online sales here, so I'm going to stop now.

Life of George spotted at Target Newton (Adelaide) today, clocked in at ~$31 with the 20% off.

Has anyone got this? It looks like it might be quite a fun game for use with an iPhone, but I'd like an AFOL's opinion on it.

Has only basic 1x1, 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 1x6 pieces in 5 standard colours.

and a game board (is it only cardboard?)

the app is free, so if you have the pieces....

Pakenham Big W has both Pharoah's Quest 7326 ($75) and Dino 5886 ($60) on clearance. A few copies of each, so if you feel like a somewhat boring drive down the Monash, come for a visit ;)

My local Big W had the same and lots of sets of each but hopefully they go on the 50% off rack then I might buy one or 2.

Also notice at Big W they had 2 sets of the big white Star Wars ships 10212 on sale for $350 ea I was ever so tempted but I think the wife would scream to much (she wants a new car and we are saving $$$)

I'd love to grab one or two of the larger Pharaohs Quest sets if they were on sale. Haven't seen anything at Big W for a while so things are looking grim

Someone reported on another forum that they spotted Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel sets in a Big W store.

Also, Life of George spotted in the Target in Fremantle earlier today.

Big W in Riverton, WA has a variety of sets available: City, Creator, TMNT, Galaxy Squad, Star Wars, LoC, and Hero Factory. No Pharoah's Quest.

They still have Series 4 minifigs! If they don't discount them, I don't know how they expect them to sell...

Thought these sets would be on clearance, so I scanned them:

9468 MF Vampyre Castle $100

9467 MF Ghost Train $80

9464 MF Vampyre Hearse $35

5885 Dino - Triceratops Trapper $55

The hearse is $29.88 in Target along with the train being $69.88, clearance items so you cannot lay-buy them. Picked up the hearse for my little boy he likes this series.
