So I finally talked myself into getting the Haunted Mansion set from Kmart.

And... they have disappeared off the shleves. Belmont, Carousel, Wanneroo.

So that's what I get for procrastinating.

My local k-mart here in S.A has about 12 sets of the HH left on the shelf,Strange thing is they are not anywhere near the Lego Isle they are tucked away in the corner of the store near the nerf guns and cheap Scaletrix sets.

My local K-mart is that they charged me $179 for the HH Then i went back in the next day and got charged $160 for another.

Good, they don't have any stock of the sets I am tempted to army build with.

Has anyone seen sets 60048 (police set with police dog van, bad guy hideout and bad guy pickup truck), 60049 (police set with a helicopter on the back of a truck), 41056 (Friends news van), 76015 (Spider-Man Doc Oc set), 78011 (LEGO Movie set with flying kebab shop and flying saloon) or 78012 (LEGO Movie set with fire truck mecha) anywhere in QLD yet? Specifically the Gold Coast and preferably somewhere that has them on sale.

Target had nothing that was on any kind of discount beyond the 20% off.

Another one from Myer: $10 off every $50 until Sunday. Whether it's all toys or just Lego I can't remember.

After some kind assistance from the ladies at MIdland Kmart, I was able to locate a Haunted House set in Morley. They are not on the shelves and seem to keeping them in the back for some reason. They had a few from what I was told. So if anyone is still wants one keep trying. Try to avoid the floor staff as they aren't terribly informed about stock levels. The customer service people at the front of the store tend to be more helpful.

There are two Haunted Houses left at Tweed City K-Mart.

I hit up some Targets, and the 20% off stacks with the clearance prices that are already on most of last year's stock. Essentially, things are @40% off.

If I didn't already have a Galactic Titan (and no need for another) I would grab at nearly half-price $80! Last year's Castle, Galaxy Squad, Super Heroes, Ninjago & Chima plus a bunch of City (that all looks the same to me year after year). Not Friends, and not the Umbarran MHC or Arkham Asylum (both exclusive to Target).

Count yourself lucky if you can find an army builder. Especially the Castle one that was good value to start with.

Oh man, I need a Galactic Titan still! I hope I can get one for that price at one of my local Targets tomorrow.

Picked up the 70813 Rescue Reinforcements (Fire Mech) today from Toys R Us at Garden City (at $10 off the $99 RRP/shelf price)

I also picked up the 60044 Mobile Police Unit from the Big W at Garden City for $38 which is a bargain considering its RRP is $49.99 and its US RRP is US$44.99. The 60045 Police Patrol (with the large white inflatable boat) is exactly the same (Big W price, RRP and US RRP) and is also a bargain IMO (but less useful to me parts wise hence why I didn't pick one up :)

Re The Target Sale - with the Lone Ranger in clearance these sets are more than 50% off (at Donaster on Reynolds Road Melb VIc). Just bought the last two Silver Mine Shootout 79110 for $47.20 each - RRPoriginally $119. these have great rocks and landscape bits - Score. The town set - Collby City Showdown 79109 are about $40 (RRP $89.99) and there were two left I think. Nice for you town builders - same dark green and other tan and dark tan bits and peices.

Admittedly these have been on sale for a while but they are worth picking up just for their peices!
