Does anyone in Brisbane know if the Lego Educational Center is still in business at Southbank? I went there early last year and then spent 3 months travelling through Europe and Africa to come back and find it's not in the yellow pages anymore. I'm at Springwood and it's a bit far for me to just drive to find if it still is so I was wondering if anyone here knows if it is or not?

Suprisingly K-Mart had received a Lego shipment in! Not suprisingly, there were no battlepacks at all :(

I picked up the AAT and attack shuttle, scanned them, then put them back. Realistically I only want the Mace and Yoda minifigs which kind of make it a waste of money to buy the whole lot.

They had in the General Grevous set, $133 after discount. Methinks S@H's $65 seems more beneficial. I did purchase a 10178 AT-AT for $102, simply due to the cheap price

where was this? how many sets still left?

I got the last one, but it was also mentioned on FBTB that other K-Mart stores around Australia were selling them, so just a lucky dip I guess. It was kind of hidden in the corner too, away from the usual Star Wars lego section.

Also, if any Aussies are purchasing multiple AATs or Attack Shuttles and have a spare Yoda and Mace minifig to trade or sell, please pm me. Bricklink prices for these are really high atm and costing nearly half the set when conversion rates are put in. I need them to for my Clone Wars diorama

Why not just look on ebay, there is always someone selling them.

Because purchasing from ebay US will cost about $40 witht he exchange rates

Not alot are popping up on ebay Australia

Yeah but I am after the Clone Wars ones, hence why I asked if someone had bought multiples of the AAT or Attack Shuttle. I am keeping an eye on ebay, but if someone here has spares, I'm open to a trade. I'm just not paying nearly $40 for Yoda when I can buy the whole set for $25 more

Well, prices are going to drop dramatically now you can get Yoda, Dooku and Mace as a bundle for $16.95 as part of the magnet set

I guess most of you have now seen the fantastic new star wars magnets for sale on Aus shop at home. If anyone from Aus is putting in an order there, I'd be happy to pay part of your shipping plus your costs to ship to me in Adelaide (say $55 for two magnet sets shipped to me). I'm on the straightshooters list here and excellent feedback on bricklink, and am happy to pay in advance to a trusted member here. PM me if you're interested.

Cheers

Matt

I hope that's the start and end of the political angle. Let's not discuss Australian politics on EB, you can go to www.EuroPollies.com for that.

Well here it goes, I've never got anything from S@H before so how does it work. And I would like to get an order and I would be willing to pay half and the cost of the set. If you don't mind getting paid in cash only and it will have to be mailed to you  Pm me and maybe we can work something out?

The Shop at Home sales items have all dropped to 50% off now so I don't imagine they'll be around much longer.

New SW magnets (Imperial Guard and Darth Maul), what I think are new adult watches, and 7746 Single Drum Roller and 8707 Boulder Blaster are also available.

Damn and blast, $148 for the sand crawler and its sold out already, damn it all the SW stuff is sold out.

Certainly clearing things out, all the episode 1 stuff is gone, all the episode 3 is gone, all there is going to be left is CW and classic.

I don't think any of the SW stuff has been available half price for a while - when they reduced the remaining sales stuff to 50% off, all the prices dropped, even from Sold Out items.

crap. i just paid $105 for the monster dino. :hmpf_bad: and they HAD to ship my order this morning too, so i can't call them to cancel and reorder. drat...that alone would have paid for my shipping. :sceptic:

i would make an order, but only MM sets are left. i'll wait until SBSP magnet set is available b4 making another order.

On the upside, the Monster Dino is now backordered 14 days, so you'd have to wait 14 days for it to ship.

Actually, that raises a question- if you have Express shipping (or order over $800) and buy something that is backordered, do they ship the majority of the order first and then the backordered items at a different date? Anyone know?

I remember reading on the PAB page that they would ship parts separate to sets if they weren't available then and there, so perhaps they split orders too.

Whats the deal with the new SW Magnet sets? are the figures the same as the ones in sets and are they removable from the bases? If they are removable they make fine BPs.

yes, they split orders. yes, they are the same as mfs from sets. yup, good bp but why would you do that though? there's a stormtrooper bp already. :P for much cheaper. don't think you need too many at-st pilot. what are you getting loads of?

i need lots of leia and darth maul for moc mfs but the rest of the mfs from those sets are kinda hard to sell according to BL. i gotta rethink my strategy.
