Darth_Legois Posted March 26, 2009 Author Posted March 26, 2009 I jsut went to the Toyworld in Adelaide which is pretty well stocked, but no sign of the 7751 Ahsoka's Jedi Starfighter. February release date pfft Really? My local toyworld has heaps. Since when did Toyworld carry the Space Skulls? I go there regularly and have NEVER seen ANY Toyworld that had the Space Skulls in stock (given the way LEGO lists it as a "factory" set like the market street, star justice and custom car garage, I would doubt LEGO would even sell it outside of S&H and LEGO stores. Since before Christmas last year... My local one still has 3 left! Also the Springwood one [abit further] has about 10 left still... Latest UPDATE!!!7637 Farm (Farm series) had confirmed appear in Garden cities' s K-mart (QLD). 100% real DJ, Big W no sign of it, i think still have to wait. So went to Myer and its fully stocked! With Farm and everything [Farm is everywhere now like Toyworld, BigW, Kmart, Myer.. ].
Achilles Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Hello aussie lego fans~ I'm probably sure this advertisement doesn't belong here, but I couldn't start a post because I don't have permission. (I've been with Eurobricks for sometime, but haven't really posted anything hehe) I live in Brisbane, and I've got Clone Wars Yoda Minifig going for aussie $10. Post me a message if anyone's interested, thanks.

I think you'll have a lot of trouble selling the yoda fig for $10, the market is flooded with them since the magnet figs came out. Maybe someone out there will be willing to trade some other lego for it with you.
Achilles Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 (edited) oh you're dead right! haha bringing it down to $5 seems more fair then. just message me if interested~ Edited March 27, 2009 by Achilles
jonwil Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Since before Christmas last year...My local one still has 3 left! Also the Springwood one [abit further] has about 10 left still... Was it just the Space Skulls or has the Star Justice been seen in a retail shop also? Strange that I havent seen the set in any toy world in perth at all (and I go there regularly)
Izzy Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 I went to Myer, Toyworld and Kmart yesterday, Myer had 20% off lego (one day only) nothing AT ALL that I would have bought, no pirates no harry potter, no city/farm... . Toyworld had NOTHING either, Kmart had one Farm set $135 AU and then nothing.... made me very depressed actually.

All my local ones are fully stocked [With Farm and PW] and all the new city construction and yeah....Their shelves are full. That sucks though. I thought all of them where stocking up now?
tenabrae Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 (edited) Checked out the Myer sale today in Melbourne CBD - no sign of Farm as of yet. Target in Melbourne CBD had farm on Friday (27th) no sale though. Edited March 28, 2009 by tenabrae
MicroM Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Since the AT-OT / Dropship is now available I'm wondering if anyone is interested in doing a trade (I've posted this is this Aussie forum to start with as I figured this would be best traded in Australia). I have quite a few older kits (4483 AT-AT / 4504 MF / 6211 Star Destroyer / 7163 Gunhip / 4482 AT-TE / 10123 Cloud City). All kits are MISB, I have a few of the smaller kits as well (X-Wing / Slave 1 / Tie Fighter / ARC-170). Anyway if anyone has any interest PM me and we can work something out. Thanks
brickfreak99 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 BIG W is very good for Lego. I got the Construction Site from there for 128 bucks. $22 off for an everyday price! Although, when I went there was generally only SW and City(Yay for City!) but minimal amounts of everything else... Oh and also, where could I find the Cargo Train Deluxe or Passenger Train in a store? I don't like ordering from S@H. P.S Why is the word 'Lego' shown as incorrect spelling on this forum? Silly if you ask me...
TheDarkness Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 When they "fixed" the 10188 Death Star price, wasn't it $629.99? Having a look before it is at $699.99. A far cry from the $399 or whatever the early price was

(I've been with Eurobricks for sometime, but haven't really posted anything hehe) You're right, it doesn't so don't do it again. P.S Why is the word 'Lego' shown as incorrect spelling on this forum? Silly if you ask me... Err.... explain please? When they "fixed" the 10188 Death Star price, wasn't it $629.99? Having a look before it is at $699.99. A far cry from the $399 or whatever the early price was Yes, it went up again a few months back. I'm so glad I got it at $400....
brickfreak99 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 When you write the word 'Lego' in your post, it has one of those red, squiggly lines under it when you are writing the post...
Siegfried Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 When you write the word 'Lego' in your post, it has one of those red, squiggly lines under it when you are writing the post... Isn't that just your browser not knowing how to spell LEGO? How do you spell LEGO then?
brickfreak99 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I spell Lego Lego. Oh, I just noticed that if you use caps it doesn't read it as an error
Izzy Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 all you have to do is right click on the squiggly lines and add the word to your computers dictionary. problem solved. Lego LEGO LEEGGOOOOO!!!!
brickfreak99 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Can anyone answer my question about Lego Cargo Train Deluxe and Passenger Train availability in stores? I specifically need to know where I can get them in Melbourne...
Siegfried Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Can anyone answer my question about Lego Cargo Train Deluxe and Passenger Train availability in stores? I specifically need to know where I can get them in Melbourne... Gee, and you waited so long for an answer... I've seen the Cargo Train in Myer and the Passenger train in Toyworld, but that was a while back and in Hobart. Have you tried Moore Educational?
Svelte Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Does any technically-minded bod have any idea why the K10194 Emerald Night collection (including power functions and track) is not available in Australia, although the UK and other European countries can order it? I noticed this earlier with the RC racers sets and also the Power Functions control switch and light that are also unavailable here. Is this a legal issue/ technical issue to do with the specifications of the new power functions system? Or have we just dropped off the radar? Does anyone know? EDIT: I note we can order the 10V transformer but not the battery box it recharges!
brickfreak99 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I know, it's madness! LEGO is so discriminative of Australia, we have no LEGO retail stores!
Svelte Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 10190 Market Street is back from the dead. I doubt it will last long - Ebay prices are already ludicrous for this one so don't hesitate if you do want this set.
brickfreak99 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Toyworld has a liquidation 75% off sale, can someone check it out?
Siegfried Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Toyworld has a liquidation 75% off sale, can someone check it out? How did you hear about this? I ask as I want to know if it's local or Australia wide.
Hewman Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 How did you hear about this? I ask as I want to know if it's local or Australia wide. Most if not all toyworlds are franchises so I'd be 99% confident this is limited to one store. Also 75% seems excessive even for a liquidation sale I would have thought 50% off would move stock exceptionally quickly.

Perhaps it's an early April Fools Day prank?
