Saw the separatists shuttle at Rowville K-Mart for $55. Nothing else though, indy, pirates, SP III, or other new SW.

Yup its not on sale it just says "Hot price" next to the farm & Turbine Transport, There was also no "after sale price" listed.

All SP3 sets are good at my Big W, but they arent at sale price to 2nd of July. Same with the SW

If you watch Ebay like a hawk you can get some amazing bargains (I got the death star for about $500 AU when it was first released, incl shipping)

The new INDY TEMPLE OF DOOM set is up there for buy it now $217, i'm very tempted ><. Does anyone know how much it's RRP is going to be in aus? In america its only $89. so i wouldn't expect it to be more than $150 here

I definitely keep a close eye, both here and abroad, for bargains. People do make errors in their titles and possibly not attract as much attention as they may be able with some better planning. I suspect when you got your DS, some people were out to make a quick buck after buying theirs at the erroneous pricing off the bat (I had 2 in my cart and was waiting for my credit card company to fix an error, so I lucked out :()

Incidentally, the 7747 answers your question about using the new cutout cylinder piece to make stable towers a la 10189, Siegfried. Basically rotate each iteration by 90 degrees as you ascend, stick a 4x4 circular plate over each of these sections, then run the Technic axle through the centre. Voila! You can sort of see the technique in this pic.

nope. kmart has the separatist shuttle and the ATOT. haven't seen any new city sets yet. no pirates in target either.
