Thanks for the info Siegfried.

Ah ok, well hewman i can answer yours, next month.

BigW has in their website the Separatists shuttle, the snail tank, and Echo Base, no prices.

I also just noticed BigW doesn't show any lego Indi at all.

Thanks. How much is the Snail again?

Yeah... It's a bit of a shame as I miss my personal rank, but I needed (wanted?) some of the root abilities.

I see they are plugging the Real Big Ripoff on S@H.

They can dream on! Like the Dropship it's retail or never for me.

Like...?

The price for the Tantive IV is.... I dunno.

I just wish they'd stick with a fixed ratio with price conversions, and then round out appropriately - at the moment you never know if something is going to be a good deal or ludicrously overpriced!

Eg, if the Pirate Tank is 1.5x the US price, or the Hoth Base 1.6x the US price, do all the sets this way. Don't make the larger sets worse value than the smaller sets by making the ratio closer to twice the US price, like the Tantive (at 1.86x), or Endor (2x). Lego is supposed to be better value the more you buy, not less!

Perhaps they are factoring postage into the costs secretly to pay for shipping the massive boxes of air across the world.

Congrats Sieggy on becoming a Root Admin.

Its funny though, the RBR is 20 bucks less than what i paid for the AT-OT.

Ha ha, yeah, i couldn't belive it when i opened the box, not to find bubble wrap or packing penuts, but 'packaged air'. Also, i really don't know why LEGO has to ship items from denmark that are available in AUS stores. I mean, items that are currently unavalible (like home one, or the temple of doom) i can understand, but items that are already at retail, they must keep stock of them somewhere in australia!

Based on all the stores I visited recently (including several Targets, a K-Mart and a TRU) I can say that all the police bikes out there are the black sticker kind (Target and TRU had good stock, I forget if K-Mart had any bikes or not) and that all the police cars out there are the blue sticker kind (If you can find one with any stock left, Target does have it, K-Mart had none and TRU had good stock)

No sign of any prisoner vans anywhere (with either sticker color), I suspect that that particular set is long gone.

If any Sydneysider's are looking for the tank droid, Hoth or midi-Falcon, Hobbyco in the CBD has plenty of all.

The Police Van's are an old item and have been long discontinued my friend.

Yea, I don't understand the whole thing about Shop@Home operating from Denmark. It costs them heaps to come here since they get shipped first from Denmark to UK, then from UK to Australia. It's nuts!

If you're prepared to pay above RRP, the prisoner transport is available here BTTW prisoner transport.

I suspect it might have something to do with tax. I think if they ship it from a local warehouse then they may have to pay local tax on the profit. If they ship from Denmark then they pay Denmark tax. You often find that businesses prefer to pay tax in their home country rather than in the other country.

S@H prices are inclusive of Australian GST.

I was more commenting about the blue-sticker reissue

which was released at the same time as the blue-sticker bike and car

I was meaning income tax rather than sales tax (whether VAT or GST). Anyway I'm only speculating here based on some other businesses I seen.

Does anyone know of any shop or Australian website that stocks cafe corner and green grocer?

There's a shop in Lower North Shore of Sydney if you want to pick it up. No website though?

Yes, which shop is this? And what are the prices like for those 2?

Has there been an official release for the Home One? Or has anyone see on in stores?

It's been on S@H for awhile and I made a few calls to local TRUs today and it was mostly "Home..One?" or "Mon Cala-wha?". Would have been nice if lego released official street dates for each set similar to the Clone Wars launch.

Hobbyco in CBD is selling them right now... i just saw them today

It's not on their website, but it looks like they have stock of most of the other SW summer sets as well as new Creator and summer Power Miners (such as the Titanium Command Rig). Woo!

I gave them a call today but they said the 7754 set (Home One) wasn't even showing up ie they haven't received any. But they do have most of the new sets, picked up Hoth and Tank droid there couple days ago.

Spotted the Hoth base, the Tank Droid, the Mid Scale falcon and the Crystal King at Target in Victoria Park today. And the %off sale is still going on so now is a good time to pick it up with a nice discount.

May have seen other new Power Miners (Rock Wrecker) and Star Wars (Separatist Shuttle) but I cant remember for sure.
