Even though I missed out on the Trolls Mountail, I did pick up x3 Star Wars 10195 AT-OT drop ships at $90 dollars each !!!!!!

Great price, well done. I just did a quick ring around and no stores within a reasonable drive had any left.

I've actually grabbed quite a few toys (outside of LEGO) at KMart at greatly reduced clearance prices, they do now how to discount.

Kmart stores in South Australia are starting to get Pirates in stock, but no pirate ship though.

Because they were on clearance I think they're gone pretty much everywhere. I know a few weeks ago, Firle had a couple but when I went last week they didn't have any. If I see any around at a good price I'll drop you a PM. I assume you were wanting one from K-mart because of their price? Plenty of places have them at full RRP.

I also noticed a further drop in the Indy items, the plane was down to $50 and the Temple of Doom down to $75. I wonder if Indy kits will be like Batman kits one day ? I saw a couple of Batman kits sell for crazy prices on eBay this week (Arkham Asylum and Two face chase).

Of course we all know the answer will be YES.

Except for a few indepedent retailiers having a hand full of items, I would give it two years, about the same time of Batman did to go crazy. I personally know of one retailier having an Batman set orignally selling for $80 from a few years ago, it when recently for $300.

So if you can and got the money spare, buy up Mr. Jones and company - then in two years, say hello Ebay !

Nothing will go as crazy as Batman did. Not even MISB old SW prices hit the roof like Batman has. Everyone sort of knows Indy is dead so those who want to stock up will have had plenty of time to prepare. Batman went insanse since they didn't do a second production run of the 08 sets, so everybody who had put the (frankly mediocre) sets on their 'Buy later' lists got a nasty surprise when they sold out the first round. I'm sure Indy will increase, but not at a level comparable to Batman. Lego still can't even clear the Indy sets from S@H unless they go on sale

But yay for K-Mart's bizarre 'everything must go within 2-3 months' approach Grabbed a Trolls Mountain Fortress for $80 and another Drawbridge Defence and got the 1/2 price discount, which means about a 50% markdown on retail overall.

I also noticed that the Venice Chase sets are now marked down to $40 now too Bargain! A great set, if you buy two you're basically getting one free. Ambush in Cairo and Chauchilla were still holding their retail price.

The availability of LEGO at Coles for 25% off is a good development IMO.

Oh for sure! And that is a regular price too. Everyone keep an eye out incase they go on sale. Christmas is coming and these small sets make for great stocking fillers.

thanks svelte! i woke up late this morning and missed out on all the troll fortress, indy temple and at-ot sets. the tag for the venice set was still at $60... and i didn't even bother to check the price. if you hadn't post, i would have missed out on this too!

i missed out on the fighter plane...but meh, it's not that interesting anyway.

There were still heaps of Venice Chase and Fighter Plane Attack sets this morning at Bondi J if you ever make it across the bridge AT-OTs were also $150 according to the sales chick's price check.

These K-Mart sales really are ridiculous! None of the other retailers are following suit, so I wonder why they're being so aggressive. There will be no new launch of the Jan sets before Christmas and there's still 4 weeks to go. You think they'd want to hold on to *some* stock!

I suspect K-Mart knows that Indy and Castle are kaput, so they just want the stuff off the shelves ASAP, but their discounts across other lines are pretty good too.

i remember grabbing the last of the ij temple and troll fortress 2 weeks ago but last sunday (4 days ago) i went shopping and saw like 4 ij temples and 2 troll fortresses. not sure where they came from...either stockroom or perhaps unpaid laybys. this morning the temples and fortresses were gone but i saw 2 at-ots behind the layby counter. must have just missed those to whoever went to the store at 6am.

i thought the at-ots are now down to $90? if still at $150 in the bondi store then you're badly ripped off! if $90, with the current sale becomes $135 for 2!! even better than previously $144.50 for one. lol...
