Well at least the City range is priced fairly. but SW and CW - well such a product would carry a bit heavier price tag.

Also we can all order the fire copter and 4x4 jeep at S@H as it was with the rest of fire sub-theme missing from the first half catalogue.

I think there's some database glitch with S@H, as everything that was listed just for the US market previously (the small Power Miners, the 2 SP3 sets, the larger Fire stuff) doesn't show up anywhere else. I would expect it to be fixed soon.

$AUD49.99 for the 2-fig 177 piece Freeco Speeder is the point at which I stop buying from S@H :laugh:

S@H is now updated with most of the missing stuff from yesterday, like SP3, Power Miners small sets and the Fire Station ($139.99).

No sign of the SW Landspeeder or Swampy Swarm Speeder though :laugh:

According to the lego mag the ISP AKA "swamp speeder" isn't out until Feb.

Might be a mistake to say this to a mod, but you must be mad to buy from S@H, it should be called RO@H, Rip Off @ Home.

The dates in the catalogue are for retail stores. Usually most stuff from S@H is released simultaneously in waves. It may be that this one is coming later, however. Last year Ahsoka's Starfighter was a Jan release but the Dooku's Solar Sailer was backordered until Feb.

Toyworld only sell at full RRP prices, and don't price match. They don't believe in matching anything.

Go with the 3 Pack, I did and that's all I'll buy from there.

Ashoka's fighter will always be at RRP $79.99 price.

Shouldn't have started at all since 50% of the sets were fake and were never available to begin with!

K-Mart does have Space Police, Pirates, Power miners and City at around 20% off K-Mart ticketed prices, but no Star Wars sets are discontinued unfortinately.

Might be worth holding off another one to two weeks for another price drop.

Oh the horror of it all - Myers and Target about 20 sets in total each OMG - now we might have a Lego shortage.

Spoke to a guy at a TRU, they have a catalogue out in about two weeks and they are expecting Lego to be in it - what the Lego sets were he did not say.

I went to BigW today and they had at least twenty Venators and other big sets such as the large 'pizza store' set, PM Command Rig...

But also heaps of the Basic Brick boxes and cartons and an overflow of City and Pirate impulses.

But no reduced prices!

Don't they worry about not selling everything?

Is there some sort of 'extreme' clearance coming up?

Anyone seen any Pirates sets around SE QLD? The only pirates I've seen are impulses at BigW, Toyworld & TRU, Which have all sold out anyway. :sceptic:

All the other shops have everything but pirates. :hmpf_bad:

Try some Kmarts or just Myers, even some Targets still might have some Pirates like the 80 dollar fort down to 60 at Kmarts - yes clearance.

I'm sorry, the $50 price tag for the ittty bitty Freeco speeder with 2 minifigs was just too much for me. I'm one of the people who always took Lego's price increases in stride. The economy, Australia's import taxes, rising cost of petroleum etc are all understandable right? When I saw that speeder for the first time, I guessed it would be around the same size as the Twin Pod Cloud Car set from years back. As I said to myself.

"It'll probably be around $25, but as it's part of the new range, let's just round up to $30 to be a bit more realistic. I'll probably grab a couple for that nice minifig, might even make a Bikie gang!"

For anyone who's interested in the Dwindling Indiana Jones sets, I noticed that K-Mart has

the: Venice Canal Chase 7197 set on clearance for $30.00 dollars (RRP $59.99).

They had x25 sets so they're not rushing out the door.... I think I'll wait for another

price drop before buying more sets.

K-Mart didnt have any other Indy sets so I have a feeling this is the last of them.

K-Marts making way for new Star Wars, Ben 10, Atlantis and Toy Story so this is why the helves are so bare, so they must be just around the corner.

And local BigW's still have a huge amount of Venator 8039 sets, so the sale at $147.00 before Xmas

mustn't have gone as well as they hoped. But with little specials coming from BigW these days they'll

have them in stock for months to come. A clearance price of $99 dollars would be great :-)

Thanks for the tip earlier, it appears to be Australia wide on the $30 Venice sets at Kmarts. I had to reach up to the back of the top shelf to snap up a couple myself, its good to be 197cms. They are awesome parts packs with loads of dark tan etc btw.
