'Kenny3011' you don't need to do that.

Contact the good people at 'TOY CORNER' (www.toycorner.com.au) they have a large stock of Ahkohsa's Starfighter, although I think it's about a hundred bucks plus freight.

In Kmart today the Tan Creator house was reduced to $80, even though the shelf price is 99, so always check the price people. I still would prefer it at a further 15% off to make it a real bargain.

The Apple Tree house was 65 at Kmart and 74 at BigW, that is quite a difference! I wonder if Kmart will raise the price later on, or BigW is being greedy?

South Australia.

I bought the silver champ from them a few months ago. Top work they are, they respond to emails pretty quickly and ring you to confirm that you want the order etc..

I picked up the creator set 6753 Highway Transport for $99 at Kmart and it is a really good set. I have only built the Car Transporter but the others will be built soon.

Does anyone know where i can get the Technic Crane Truck from for a good cheap price? I have to get it but dont want to spend the earth on it.

In Melbourne Myer CBD there's one Taj Mahal, if anyone is looking for one. Other than that there's a couple of unwanted sets from last year, the new SW sets and a lot of Racers canisters.

I was in DJs CBD two weeks ago and they had the same sort of thing going on, minus Taj, plus a couple of Grand Carousels.

For those interested, Myer has it's Buy x2 Lego sets and Get x1 FREE on Saturday and Sunday (Today and Tomorrow)!!!!

So for battlepacks, $22.95 each x2 plus x1 FREE = $15.30 each !

An excellent buy.....

Get in before they're all gone.....

In SA, Myer had the Lego Airports and a few others but not the full range

like BigW and Kmart has.

Thank you 'Clone-Trooper' for the information, I'll check TTP today then - thanks again !

I'm a conformist! ! :classic:

They had the new Airport sets here too, though I didn't pay much attention to them. The new SW battlepacks were tagged at 19.50 though, so hopefully they will go no higher than that from now on. I love the look of the Toy Story sets though, next time there is a decent discount I will get the lot for my son for when he is older

For those in Adelaide, Toyworld has now opened on level 2 of the Myer centre. Some bargains to be had. I picked up the squidman set for $5, plus there's a bunch of star wars sets on sale 7778 (MF) $40, 7659 Imp landing craft) $64, 7661 (Obi-wan's Jedi ship) $80, 7748 $25 (forgotten name, looks like the smaller wookiee set from a few years ago but has driods and clones, usually $40 I think) and 8036 (that ship with the Greedo type alien, yeah guess whose not into the clone wars) $40. Plus there's a bunch of construction and racers sets on sale (about 20% off I think)and purchases over $40 get you a free bionicle set. Also some hard to find star wars sets available but not discounted, Ahsoka's ship, V-19 Torrent, Magna guard ship and possibly others I missed.

Edit: Big Mars mission set reduced from $130 to $65.

For those who want the fire sets and dont want to wait for them to arrive or pay shop @ home prices, BTTW seems to have them in stock. (although where they are getting their stock from I dont know)

Posted

Well 'Jonwil' I would say they are importing from overseas - many of the online dealers do that to keep store levels up.

I really only want the fire copter but I also want Luke's Landspeeder (must check if BTTW has it ?).

Take note TARGET now has CITY airport range of course at full R.R.P. ! :hmpf_bad:

Another note Kmart has now reduced 3177 to 6.75 and Woody's Roundup to 85 bucks - they must be on a good deal for those prices !

Can't wait for a 15% Lego sale there eh ?

Posted

BTW, dont buy from BTTW without checking other prices, the prices of quite a few items are above Shop @ Home prices (which themselves are above what you would pay at retail for the same item)

For example, the Emerald Night is 50 bucks more expensive at BTTW than at Shop @ home.

Fire helicopter is 25 bucks more.

Off-road truck and boat is 20 bucks more.

Police prisoner transport 10 bucks more.

Fire Brigade is 50 bucks more.

Grand Carousel is 60 bucks more.

The fire station on the other hand is cheaper at BTTW than at Shop @ home

That's because its the old fire station *grin*

Alot of the sets you are mentioning are the S@H exclusives, so you would have to add the shipping to the S@H prices, BTTW has a flat rate postage charge which is much less, so while the BTTW prices appear higher, they end up being pretty much the same.

Goodness gracious me, the Limo's 36% off!!! I don't know how much the plane usually is but for that price it seems like quite a good deal.
