Now at the same time as Altantis is also Ben10 plus I believe the tractor with piggies should be comming out too.

If Kmart has some Atlantis gear that means two things - 1. Sale - in the next month a Lego sale to get in early from the March/April toy sales (like Myer's) - 2. maybe Cartoon Network here in Oz might show the 30minute feature on the start of Altantis !

Atlantis is definitely here.

(Mech design is not mine.)

Alright that is just about the only one I might buy because it's so cool looking - and cheap !

I'll be checking K-marts around my area a.s.a.p. and I shall report back what I find out here for those of us living in South Australia !

Grand Emporium is up at S@H - for the price of AUD249.99

http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=10211

I can't keep track of LEGO's weird pricing system! :sing:

Both CC and GG were initialy about AU$50 off their eventual prices for about the first three days, if you plan to buy from S@H now is probably the time. I'll buy from the US later I think.

Cafe Corner was always $AUD249.99 right from the start but Green Grocer was $AUD149.99 for about a week (obvious listing error on S@H).

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if someone notices the price discrepancy and it does get upped at some point (probably along with the Flagship) to $AUD299.99.

To be fair, a lot of these weird S@H price increases seem to coincide with retailers here lining up Exclusives for their big sales where LEGO prices in the discount. (Stores seem to like nice round fat numbers like $299.99 rather than odd ones like $279.99).

For those interested in animated lego shows, the Clutch Powers dvd is now available at Target for $20. I assume the Atlantis show won't be a dvd release, given it's just over 20 minutes long.

Well besides the BP sets Kmart seems to have all Lego sets already marked down 15%. I guess we wont see the 15% off sales at least for a while, but if we do man that is some good savings.

In my local one today they had Gateway of the Squid for only $48 (60 on S@H)

Neptune Carrier was only 69 I think, (and its 89 on S@H)

Woody's roundup was $85

Apple Tree is still $65

Does anybody remember how much Rogue Shadow's costs when they were on sale? I found a huge stack of them at a local Big W for $70 and I wasnt sure if the prices were lower or higher than what they were normally.

I believe around $100 (Probably 99.99 ;)).

I would buy it, as the cheapest one on BL is $50 I think, and they were discontinued at least a year ago.

List $100 (Seems cheap now... :sceptic: )

I got mine for either $60 or $70 on sale.

I think its cheap because no one really wants them.... when they were the current series, they were always several available on the shelf at the stores.

That's not what I meant. I meant that $100 for that set seemed insane at the time... now for $100 you get a lot less Star Wars LEGO for your money. Thus it seems cheap now.

Gotcha!

I think I misunderstood. Words. Can be taken a thousand ways.

Good news is. Emporium is out for $249.99!

No, sorry 'Hewman', but I believe that they will come mid-year with the new city and kingdoms impulses.

$100 RRP, though their sale price was $70 for a long time at both TRU and Myer, picked up my one with the added sweetness of Myer One credit, and still not sure if it was worth it. The set's kinda big yet nothing great. Cannibalised it for the abundance of sleek black pieces.

Yes, we owe a lot of our Star Wars Lego purchases to this magical sliding scale of prices. Honestly, sometimes I think this is all some whacky, and somewhat disturbing social experiment by Lego. Personally, I think they've gone a bit far this year. Even on sale the Fresco speeder doesn't seem to be racing off the shelves. What's even more telling is that a certain walrus isn't saying things like, "Well, actually that set is better value than I originally thought..." Heh, if I had a dollar for all the times I've heard that...
