No, sorry 'Hewman', but I believe that they will come mid-year with the new city and kingdoms impulses.

I'm a conformist! ! :sweet:

Bah, yet ANOTHER product to add to the list of "things Australia gets later than the rest of the world" (LEGO and otherwise including movies, video games etc) :(

Went to Kmart and the Creator Family home and Highway transporter has been reduced even further, both from $80 down to $65. Goodluck finding them in stores though, seems to have sold out in a lot of stores in NSW

Is the Kmart $69 the cheapest price right now for the Neptune Atlantis Sub? Thinking of getting one and even with the Target discount, it's not quite there yet.

Looks like TRU is having a sale too with 5 lego products listed. Not worth a check of their online catalogue. There doesn't look like any discount but it has a cloud over each item that says "HOT PRICE".

It makes you feel so rorted!

Here in Victoria, I went to Kmart Moonee Ponds today and they still have a couple of the Creator Family Home for $65.

Bought several street plates from Myer 20% off sale :classic:

They had a few in Barkley Square Brunswick this afternoon, though they only had one after I left

Hey All,

Myer has it's Buy x2 and get x1 Free 2 day sale on this weekend (Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th March).

A great deal through my eye's especially on Battlepacks, even though Myer sell at

RRP, the deal still works out better then a % off sale at BigW or Target with discounted prices.

Everyone, for those that have read my MYER post about Myer having Buy x2 get x1 FREE

go to your local store now and Buy Buy Buy..........

I've just almost bought out all of the Star Wars range at my local because if you don't ask any question,

you will get Myers 20% off each Lego set plus the Buy 2 get x1 FREE special on top !!!!!!!

That's a huge double whammy saving of 40% to 50% of each kit.

For example, the 2010 Star Wars battle packs with the double discount come to $12.24 each !!!!! BARGAIN

The new ARC-170 which is $109.95 works out to a little over $58 dollars when buying x3 !!!!!!!!

Echo base which is normal $39.95 works out to be $21.30 when buying x3!!!!!

New TIE Defender which is $89.95 works $49.97 when buying x3

But you do have to get x3 sets to get the third FREE so keep that in mind.

I bought x3 of each set even though I already have them, it's steal and never to happen again until Myer clicks on

on the double discount day !!!!!!

The sign does say "Not to be used with any other offer" but the staff member I had didn't realise.

Ask no questions and get HUGE discounts !!!!!!!!

NOW, EVERYONE GO TO A MYER NEAR YOU AND BUY BUY BUY

My Myer was all over the dual offers and the "can't use in conjuction disclaimer". I even had to get store manager approval to use the "buy 2 get 1 free" offer instead of the 20% off.

Hopefully others weren't confronted with such agro staff like I was.

^Agreed. The 20% off with the "Buy 2, get 1 free" is amazing, and the Myer One bonus points is just gravy. I asked the lady to make sure they stacked and she asked a manager, since there's no "Not in conjunction with any other offer" they let me go ahead. 6 Battle Packs for $73  a super bargain when you consider that Battle Packs retail for like $22+ these days.

Edit: Wow, MicroM got screwed. There's no fine print saying that offers don't work together. My clerk double and triple checked it. If they refuse, go somewhere else or female canine to someone higher up.

My Myer had the disclaimers all over both offers. And I had to get Store Manager approval to use the "buy 2 get 1 free" offer instead of the 20% off. I've decided I'll go and re-try tomorrow.

Those who've got both deals - Well Done !!

Craziness, that whole Myer thing. Unfortunately when I looked in the CBD store today there was nothing of interest to me, they're quite low on stock.

Absolutely.

I went on Saturday and it was a free for all for me. Staff were initially quite happy to do 2 offers, even went to another myer store looking for more, head toy dept person also happy to do it. Went the next day to the first Myer and everything changed. They could only do the 3 for 2 or 20% but not both together, they were not supposed to allow it.. I have no idea who allowed it in the first place, but I honestly think they didn't realise the implications of how cheap the lego really became. Close to 50% can anyone honestly ever remember Myer ever having a 40% off lego sale let alone a 47% lego sale. Myer of all places, kmart yes with their clearance products but not Myer.

Lucky to whoever went to Myer on Saturday and got the good deals.

Welcome to the forums, Guy Montag! Good to see another Aussie here.

That makes sense, they probably decided to do the 3-for-2 offer to get rid of all the other toys they had leftover from Christmas, they weren't doing it to get rid of LEGO, there's hardly any of it.

Congrats to people who made good use of it, and here's to more of this sort of thing

That Myer deal will never be repeated again thats for sure!

And if it is, I'll be the first through the door again ready to swipe that credit card!!

Long live Australia's first "Black Saturday/Sunday" (Equal to the US Black Friday special)

Hi, I usually lurk around here but mostly at Anzfol.

I'm sure it really was a mistake. Just way to cheap and that would be one way to quickly empty shelves of lego and have no stock to replenish as someone else said. I think if they had really advertised the 3 for 2 special in a catalogue and did the Lego stuff up they would have had empty shelves for sure. Its only dumb luck that I happened to wander into Myer to kill time.

I'm not into Star Wars but there was a hell of a lot of star wars at Miranda even after their stuff up there was still heaps of Star wars lego. If only I was more mentally prepared for such a deal, I think I would have bought more on Saturday instead of trying my luck again on Sunday. But i'm not complaining it probably is the best retail lego deal for the year.

I can confirm that Fire Brigade will be coming exclusively to David Jones in March. Confirmed by TLG a couple of weeks ago. Grand Emporium will be coming in November, again to David Jones exclusively.
Hi sammyboy. Is your source at TLG reliable? I've been browsing DJ's at Parramatta for a little while now patiently waiting for 10197. I asked today and the store assistant suggested to ring the Sydney store. I rang them, got through to Toys and the lady on the other end said that she couldn't see it in her catalogue. I'm assuming she means the wholesaler's catalogue and not a retail one!! She did say that Atlantis stuff was in store. She also suggested to get Parramatta to try and order one in. If that's the csae I'll get it from the US S@H via a re-mailer.

I sure hope it arrives, I've been waiting a while for it now....

Actually I can remember Myer having a 50% off sale around 2003  , I was lucky enough to pick up a Republic Gunship and a Hogwarts Castle so it does happen. Back then online forums weren't as popular and Lego was not in as much demand, so the only way to find out was to be lucky enough to walk in and find them on sale.

Target use to have some great clearances as well, Jango Fett's slave 1 for $38.( RRP $99.95 On clearance at 50%off, then 20% sale and then 5% staff discount)

I notice no one has mentioned the additional 10%off for Myerone members from the weekend just gone, my wife went into Perth city on Sunday and picked up a few sets and they gave her the 20% off then 10%off(Myerone discount) and then got the 3rd one free. It was around $126 for 2 Apple Tree Houses and a City Corner :classic:

Absolutely 100% reliable - it can be a pain waiting for the retailers to get them in. The Grand Emporium comes out in November in David Jones - I couldnt wait and ordered three from S@H (they arrive tomorrow).

Good luck!
