Clone-Trooper Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Bought an endor set at Myer, Garden city today, 25% off. :) No Endors in S.A found yet? Anyone seen them?
MinifigHQ Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 The MUGS source has suggested that most Toyworlds were initially stocked with 2 boxes, for a catalogue sale but will get more later. Another rumour floating around is that Targets will only stock the minifigs after they have completed their stocktakes which they are apparently currently in the middle of, thus we only see figs at some Targets at the moment.Peter I believe your right about the stock with Toyworld, but since the catalogue is some time away they can re order before then and receive stock for the catalogue. As for Target, they say stock arrived at the DC on Monday just gone, no one could expect all Target stores to have these stocked instantly. Up to 2 weeks is what they are saying for stock to reach all stores. I was surprised to read that stock was found on the Tuesday. I would have a guess and say the stocktake rumour would have just been bad luck for the person visiting that store, I would assume that Target stores don't actually do stocktake simultaneously but on a rotation basis, one store one week and another the next similar to other large retailers. Bought an endor set at Myer, Garden city today, 25% off. :) I was lucky enough to have the kids out with me and they got me 2 for my upcoming B'day, which will add to the one they bought for last years. Not a bad store that one at Garden City and it is normally the first store I call when I hear of new stock arriving at Myer.
Hewman Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 No Endors in S.A found yet?Anyone seen them? Myer Adelaide had them on Friday at least. They were at the bottom of a table, so not easy to see. Good luck, you have 2 hours 45 to get one!
MicroM Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Myer at Carindale (Brisbane) had at least a dozen Endors. Also stocked with TS3 and those 2 SPIII kits (Rapid VPR & Smash 'n grab).
Siegfried Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Also stocked with TS3 and those 2 SPIII kits (Rapid VPR & Smash 'n grab). I gave up on the SPIII sets turning up last month and got them at S@H...
MicroM Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 I gave up on the SPIII sets turning up last month and got them at S@H... I came close to getting them during the Free shipping, but I missed my chance. Worked out OK in the end. The Rapid VPR is nice little ship, and I like the change in helmet for the officers. By the way I didn't see the Train TS3 kit at Myer - is that an exclusive ??
Maverick Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Would any one know where we can get the lego Dacta sets Ie 9335-1: Space & Airport Set for example? Cheers,

lightningtiger Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Target at Marion (S.A.) has minifigs for $3.75 in the actual Lego section. Got my son the outlaw and robot today ! 'Clone-Trooper' did you see any of the other TS3 sets ? I'm a conformist! !
Notorious Guf Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Would any one know where we can get the lego Dacta sets Ie 9335-1: Space & Airport Set for example? Cheers, I'm pretty sure I saw a Lego Dacta Set at TRU. Hope that helps..

Got my son the outlaw and robot today !'Clone-Trooper' did you see any of the other TS3 sets ? I'm a conformist! ! I walked straight out after seeing the $109 price tag of the garbage truck, it was on a front end in the Lego section but I think it was the only that set on the front end, until they get the other TS3 sets...... But $109? Yep, you all read correct, $109 !!!!!!
emilyjem Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 I found 3 (opened) boxes of Minifigures on the shelves of Target Rhodes (Sydney) this afternoon. Armed with my trusty barcode print out, I managed to get all 16 out of one box. The other interesting thing was that this Target still had the 20% off LEGO going! It would seem that some Targets have finished it early and others are going until 26 May. However it didn't seem to scan at the checkout that way and maybe I only got it because I asked, though there were still signs on the shelves. Even better, when they manually calculated it, 20% off became 25% off somehow, so I got all the minifigs for $3 each! Awesome. On the Toy Story 3 sets, I have been getting lots of reports of these popping up from Bricks Down Under readers. So far they've been seen at some Toyworlds, Myer, TRU and K Mart stores. Often they seem to be in a dedicated TS3 toy area rather than in the LEGO area. Hope this helps!

I tried it on and they wouldn't have a bar of it Annoyingly, the Ttarget near me had no figs and 20% off (stocktake reason) and the one further away had the figs but no discount!

I did notice that a bunch of Separatists Shuttles in what looks like a specials bin, looks like they'll be on sale soon. I'm surprised they couldn't get rid of them all when they had them for sale at $35 a while ago.
Siegfried Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 K-Mart are advertising TS3 sets $77 Trash compactor $119 Western train chase The Rapid VPR is nice little ship, and I like the change in helmet for the officers. I mostly wanted Smash and Grab.
Whittleberry Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Would any one know where we can get the lego Dacta sets Ie 9335-1: Space & Airport Set for example? Cheers, Yes, at Moore Education. They're not cheap though, considering they are mainly basic bricks.
d00dz Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 At my local Target they had the minifigs locked up in a glass cabinet, so I couldnt choose....... so I bought the whole two boxes.
jonwil Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Hit MYER, DJs and Target in Perth CBD plus Target in Victoria Park. No sign of any TS3 or collectible minifigs at any of those. MYER perth CBD had one Endor in stock (didnt catch a price tag) MYER did have a "Toy Story" section but the TS3 sets weren't there either. I didnt carry out an exhaustive search of the Target stores for the figs but no sign in the lego aisle or in the area near the checkouts where the chocolate bars normally are. If anyone has seen the collectible figs anywhere in Perth at a cheaper price than the $4 Toyworld Midland had them for, please post here.

FelixTheCat Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 Went to Toyworld Fyshwick yesterday. They're all cleaned out of the supposed $2.95 minifigs but they do have the TS3 dumptruck. No other TS3 sets on the shelf.
lightningtiger Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 No TS3 gear at our local Kmarts yet, BUT first release TS is all going on CLEARANCE......yes that favorite word Kmart really loves ! Checked a few other S.A. Targets - no go on minifigs ! I'm a conformist! !
