My wife asked about the Flagships at Marion, South Australia but they're expecting stock in the next couple of days. Has anybody come across them today?

I put an order in and it went through but I got an email back saying they don't have stock and can't fulfill this as it is discontinued. Bummer, sorry to get your hopes up, I assumed it was available as there were plenty of sets listed as out of stock and this wasn't one of them.
jonwil Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 (edited) MYER perth CBD had no new stock (no flagships, no fire stations, no TS3, no SPIII) For those with DJs cards though, DJs still has 25% off and the Perth CBD store had stock of the Toy Story train, dump truck and crane thing as well as all 5 SPIII sets (rapid vpr, smash & grab, limo, undercover ship and base) Is it confirmed that the only new things MYER are getting for their sale are the Flagship and Fire Brigade (and the SP3 and TS3 stuff)? Also does anyone know what price the FB will be during the sale? (trying to figure out if its worth picking up a FB for parts) Edited June 1, 2010 by jonwil

I would have thought they'd save the Exclusives for the big Toy Sale which will come up soon - why would they put them out on stocktake, which is for clearance? The 25% off is just a one-night deal on Toys anyway, although I imagine there will be sporadic discounts at other times.

Hi Maverick, I was there too with my friend. He said that there were several boxes of the flagship earlier in the day. I saw one box at the counter that someone must have put on lay-by, lucky! The guy at the counter said that they are getting more exclusives (I'm assuming he meant the flagship) during the school holiday and there'll be more sale. I got the Battle of Endor after much debate....and now I'm going to starve for a week I'm glad to hear the Grand Emporium is coming out in November.....now I can save up!

I know lightningtiger was mentioning a bigger service station set possibly coming out later this year, so hopefully he heard right and you can get your hands on one of them.
Whittleberry Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 Went to Myer CBD yesterday to stock up on cheap PoP. No imperial ships. Went back today on the way to DJs. Still no ships. Perhaps they're keeping them til after the sale? DJs now has 25% off too, and being the stingy bastards they are, they have quite a stockpile of last year's sets that haven't moved until now due to being at RRP. I've been to the Glen Waverley, CBD and Camberwell Targets in the past few days. No minifigs left. Kudos to the guy at Camberwell Target who knew what they were, said they were popular, and said they should be getting more in soon (as in, check back next week kind of soon). Unless I missed them, they haven't appeared at all at the GW Target, and the staff were clueless.

The DJs sale is for everyone, not just card holders. I know it was like that before though, I saw one of those card holder signs when I was in DJs a few days ago. I picked up a couple of old sets today quite cheap. 8161 Speed Racer Set was $89.95, down to $28.62 A racer and exoforce set for $7.47 and $8.73 respectively. They had some other sets on sale, all older stuff though. This was at Parramatta NSW. I thought the 25% off sale at DJ's had finished, the signs were down today where I was. No 25% off at Myer today either.
