I was suprised to see the new Lego at our local K-Mart, though we certainly haven't been getting the awesome discounts like we did in the past

BTW I don't think this was posted here, but Target was selling the Star Wars Lego Dictionary for $35 in store

:laugh::laugh: I actually had a dream once where I ran amok and bought every Lego sets...then I woke up (nooooooooooooooooo........)

Anyway, I have finished putting the mammoth that is the Police HQ set together and it's definitely worth the money. My only complaint as usual is putting the stickers on things, I'm just not very good at lining them up. Up until now, all the policemen in my town have been hanging around the pizza corner place so they now have a place to call home - they can thank their mayor the chibi_joker (awwwww.... ).

Use tweezers mate, best solution.

TRU has minifigs. They only had one box and there was only 5 left which I took 4 out of  , good news they were $2.99 each.

Which the yellow bags or blue ones ? :oh3:

For those of you on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, TARGET at the Sunshine Plaza has the Series 1 minifigs available, 4 boxes of them, all just about full. Albeit at $3.75 :hmpf_bad: . Didn't stop me from snagging the Spaceman and the Cheerleader using barcodes though.

Oh, and they are located in the toy aisle, not near the counter, so no team members will be staring at you strangely when you pull out your barcode sheet and start rifling through the box.

Bugger. Oh well, looks like a 2nd Undercover Cruiser is on the way then! And more Raid VPRs... will keep at least one sealed.

Might grab another Smash n Grab and turn it into something else.

damn, no sale on the one SP3 set I might be tempted to buy (the limo)

The limo is quite something! The 3 sets on sale are well worth those prices though.

Hey hewman,

If your in Adelaide, then go to Gepps Cross as Toys'R'Us had plenty of them on a front end, if your not in Adelaide then don't drive here as the price of fuel will outweight the cost of the set :-)

Just grab the TS3 garbage truck for $99.99 and one impulse set for $4.99, that will take you over the $100 voucher mark.

I thought the TS3 garbage truck was $109 (inflated TRU RRP). They may have reduced it to the correct RRP of $99. its starting to look more attractive at $80. Still a bit too dear for me. If it wasn't licenced I think this would be worth at $50- $60..

I defiantely saw it at the $109 price point, so I think they're being a little more realistic now, but perhaps they didn't want to

sell to many before the sale either so they raised the price for those people who must have it on day one........

But it was $109, $80's not too bad for Toys'R'Us..........

Although they might claim $99 is discounted price so won't give 20% off.

The drive to Gepps Cross might offset my savings, and I'm not sure an hour or more of my time driving is worth $10 on the weekend. But thanks for the info guys!

Wait, the post by hewman refers to the "Lego Truck" which I take to mean the yellow City truck. Yet your post refers to the TS3 Garbage Truck.

Which one is it that's available at TRU and is the yellow "Lego Truck" available anywhere at all yet?

Toys'R'Us has the TS3 Garbage truck for $99.95 in the catalogue (exclusive), 20% off available on this weekend.

The yellow dump truck 7789 is $29 at Target stores or $31.99 at Toys'R'Us.

Im sure hewan was refering to the expensive Garbage Truck set.

Yeah, the one with big lego stickers on the side, I thought the other guys were offering an alternative (albeit a more expensive one).

The new train station has made an appearance in Myer Adelaide. Box feels pretty heavy, I might consider when reduced from its $80 RRP.

Lightningtiger, I look forward to your train station review.

For anyone interested, MailOrderExpress has 10% off all LEGO. Still quite high prices, due to the exchange rate the moment. :hmpf_bad: Though the Alamut Fort is only $110. (not sure whether that's the price in the local stores)
