eli_77 Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Has anyone seen Emporer Palpatines Shuttle 8096 at any Sydney Target stores? Want to try and get it before the sale ends and haven't had much luck.
Hewman Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Has anyone seen Emporer Palpatines Shuttle 8096 at any Sydney Target stores? Want to try and get it before the sale ends and haven't had much luck. This is probably a long shot, but in my local target (in SA) they weren't with the lego but out the front of the shop, so it might be worth checking out any stands near the entrance.
darkhorse Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Did a scout of a couple of Brissy K-marts (Cannon Hill & Wynnum), thanks to Tiger's keen spot of the Yellow Clearance Tags. Wynnum didn't have the Creator Firetruck, but Cannon Hill had 4 3. Other items with the tag (S@H price to give an idea of overall saving on RRP) SW 8087 Tie Defender - Clearance $60, reduced from $77 (S@H = $90) 7778 Midi-scale Mill Falcon - Clearance $45, reduced from $57 (S@H = $60) City 7637 Farm - Clearance $80, reduced from $99 (S@H = $130) Toy Story 7591 Construct-a-Zurg - Clearance $25, reduced from $39 (S@H = $40) 7592 Construct-a-Buz - Clearance $35, reduced from $45 (S@H = $50) 7954 Woody's Roundup - Clearance $70, reduced from $88 (S@H = $100) 7595 Army Men - Clearance $16, reduced from $19.50 (S@H = $23) Other 6742 Mini Off-roader - Clearance $7, reduced from $8.75 (S@H = $10) 8072, 8073, 8397, 8398, 8400 Impulse packs - Clearance tag showed $4.75, no reduced from price, and S@H shows the price as $5, so no real saving there.

Hope you keep the passion alive...
Svelte Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I got my Myer rewards brochure yesterday. They have a 'buy 2, get the third free' voucher for toys which runs from Monday 2 August until Sunday 15 August (instead of the usual weekend word-of-mouth blitz)
marvinblue Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Does anyone know of any site (other than this one) that lists what store has what Lego? I managed to get myself a few minifigs the other day, but I only found them by chance at my local Target (Blacktown) while I was out shopping. By this stage my local TRU (Parramatta) had already sold their stock. I got what I wanted, but none of these stores had them advertised in their catalogues and Target didn't release them in the first week of their sale either. With the second series due out soon (I've heard October from a Rep I met in-store), I don't want to miss out by either finding out too late or not finding out at all. Thanks!
Hemish Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 http://www.bricksdownunder.com/ Good one for us, though the updates here are pretty good so I tend to check here first My minifigs from IQToys showed up today YAY Got 3 of the 4 I was chasing so that was good
lightningtiger Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 Just checked Target at Castle Plaza......two boxes of series 1 minifigs and 3221 Lego truck plus stacks of new Hero Factory ! I'm a conformist! !
Mainee Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 If anyone comes across these in Melbourne, please let me know! Am desperately after some Zombies and Cheerleaders for my collection!
Whittleberry Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 I think I might have seen a zombie at Northland Saturday before last. Dunno if any will be left by now. There wern't any cheerleaders so that sucked :( I got the others I was looking for though.
jamonlego Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 lots of goodies at Kmart today sunnybank and garden city had lego bags - these are the ones that are brick shaped, in blue, yellow and red - priced approx $25 sunnybank also had all the new lego games (RRP) and new S/W sets
marvinblue Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 If anyone comes across these in Melbourne, please let me know! Am desperately after some Zombies and Cheerleaders for my collection! Hi there! I have a zombie if you want it. I would love to swap for a wrestler. If you don't have one, I'm happy to let him go for a small fee..

This seems to be an interesting site and looks just like what I was after. Thanks!! What figs did you get? I mainly wanted the Wrestler, which I got, my little one wanted a Cheerleader, which she got and we scored some others, like the clown, nurse, cowboy which will fit nicely into the layout. Also got a few for prezzies for my nephews.

Hewman Posted August 3, 2010 Posted August 3, 2010 G'day everyone, another quick one - Kmart Ingle Farm - Creator fire truck was 76 bucks down to 35 dollars so be on the lookout at your local Kmart ! I'm a conformist! ! By "was" do you mean you saw one and grabbed it or was there still one (or more) there when you left?
lightningtiger Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 By "was" do you mean you saw one and grabbed it or was there still one (or more) there when you left? No, dude.....haven't got the spare cash for one, there was at least a half dozen there....oddly the tag on the bottom shelf still said 50 buck, but the shelf talker on the top shelf read 35 dollars. They also have stacks of impulse packs (no farmer/Kingdoms though) for $4.75 - a few cents cheaper than BigW. I'm a conformist! !
Hemish Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Went for a shop this morning Starwars sets were marked at $25 but scanned at $17, the tractors were marked at $11 and scanned at $7 so that was the Kmart run at Logan, they also had the creator firetruck marked at $50 have one already so passed and they also had the new starwars sets and board games, bit pricey though so will wait for next %off sale me thinks Then went to Target to see what was left, man the store was gutted and I dont think they are going to do much restocking at the moment, they did have the new starwars sets but for $150 for the new slave1 they can keep it Anyways picked up the Train station for $60, the Racers for $14 and the impulse sets for $4each All in all a good shop

For those in Adelaide, I'm going to check out Myer at lunch time in the city, so if anyone wants me to look for anything in particular to take advantage of the 3 for 2 sale, let me know.
Hewman Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Well the trip to Myer was fruitless, no new Star Wars or Lego delivery truck. ALthough the book section had the new Atlantis brickmaster book which if you have a myer one voucher you can get some nice discounts for purchasing more than one book and unlike the toys it's a whole percentage off rather than get one free. Full price was $40, and if you buy 4 books (any books) you get 40% off all purchases.

Yeah, nothing at Myer in Sydney either apart from Fire Brigades, Apple Tree Houses and Space Police sets Hopefully they restock with SW or something else interesting before the deal expires. I went to the books section but didn't notice the Brickmaster set - thanks for the tip, hewman! Anyone desperate for the Architecture White House set can buy it for $US57 (inc shipping to Australia) from B&N. With the 40% off voucher I picked up another Alamut or two there for under half the Aussie retail price
