This sale at toyworlds with the white boba fett, is it a national thing or local?

I went to my local toyworld today and they knew nothing about it??

Best check the Toyworld website for stores partaking in this promo.

I'm a conformist! !

So I scored a White Boba Fett yesterday:

(No, I haven't opened it... yet. I bag-built it.)

BE QUICK GUYS! The man at Toyworld said that each store only gets 4 White Bobas, which go to the first 4 buyers of the sets.

For those wanting a grand emporium, both the Perth CBD store and the Kariynup store said "we have more stock on order" (one store implied they had 4 more sets on order)

I suggest calling up your local store and asking if they will be getting more in.

Given the limited availability of this set, I hope that AFOLs here arent being greedy and buying multiples when some people cant even get ONE :)

Has anyone seen any of the Brickmaster books around other than the Starwars one? (I saw the Starwars one earlier in Borders but that was all they had)

I have seen a couple of ones recently - the atlantis sets I think they were - Myer Carindale had one of those, and I think I saw them at target or bigW - but they seem to be very patchy

Toyworld in brisbane city had about 10 knights advent calendars yesterday at $40 each and target had 4 box of S2 minifigs if you are still after them

20 % off LEGO sets on clearance at TRU, makes PoP and some Power Miners sets even cheaper. Spotted at TRU Gepps Cross, and TRU TTP (although at TTP they did not advertise the sale in-store, they're a bit lazy like that up there).

I have seen the atlantis one in Myer (as well as castle and pirates a couple months ago), but your best bet might be at the book depository, great prices and free shipping, and they have a pretty good reputation, I've just ordered a couple non-Lego books from them.

NO that is the one thing you would be extremely foolish to do, the US AU dollar is 98cents now, the pound as always is rubbish at 61cents, if you can find a yanky site it would be smarter to get from them, its almost dollar for dollar, with speculation it will go dollar for dollar and even we will over take theirs.

Check out their prices first before making a statement like this, and then compare to amazon (factoring in shipping) and you'll find that bookdepository.co.uk is way cheaper than amazon. I'll assume the shouting "NO" was just a caps lock slip.

There is also bookdepository.com as well, free shipping too so it seems. All around $20 Australian with no postage.

Anyway, back to more topical sales news, this week k-mart has the Hogwart's castle for $129 if you haven't picked it up with one of the numerous sales and deals around already. They also have the old police command truck for $47 (same for Fire helicopter) and also a couple smaller sets discounted, starting Thursday.

Startin tomorrow, Toys R Us have 8036 star wars Separatists Shuttle for $32.50! Plus if you spend more than $40 on Lego you get lego Club membership and a free toy story jeep set (not the one with 4 minifigs but one with one fig and a smaller jeep). Also Big W now have Harry Potter at pretty good prices as well as Fire sets discounted.

Keep forgetting to mention, have noticed KMart have marked lots of Hero Factory, Power Miners & Ben 10 sets (the Bionicle looking ones) clearance @ half price.

I received a David Jones Christmas catalogue in the mail last night. No sales to mention, but they did have the "Grand Emporium" listed for $250. But they did also have an icon that it was available "on-line".I haven't checked their online offering, and not sure on postage, but surely a cheaper option than Lego's shipping charges.

DJs website says the delivery charge would be $13.

They list 3-5 business days to the east cost and 5-8 business days to SA/WA/TAS/NT

Get in early at toys r us, the separatist shuttle is scanning at $32.49 in Adelaide store at least. Also the big Space police ship from last year is now down to about $95 if you missed out on the myriad other sales discounting it.

I didn't necessarily mean amazon, and yeah it was a typo.

Spotted City Advent Calendars at Target today in Sydney metro for $49.99!

Ah, so they had some left over didn't they......oh, I was told a few months back by a Lego rep that if the Lego Club didn't use them all up they might be release to the independents......when did Target become an independent !

Might be worth me putting a call into a Target store in SA tomorrow, and ask when we expect to get them in SA !

Secondly, I have just posted on ANZFOL, Imagine If (Newton SA ONLY) is having 20% Lego until the 20th of November.

So keep on shopping !

Which Kmart did you spot this at? I popped by Kmart at TTP (Adelaide) this afternoon, but the Power Miners set were not reduced
