Wollongong Myer didn't have the minifigs. Neither has local bigws. No sign of log house either. Bit of a disappointment. Thought about buying 3 emerald greens and selling 1 but didn't do it.

Has anyone in Sydney seen the log house creator set in store?

BigW at Warringah Mall has the log cabin for about $48.

6 in stock today.

No sign of any of the creator stuff in the Perth CBD or at Target in Victoria Park.

MYER and Target in the CBD both had plenty of S3 figs (I am starting to regret the fact that I bought the S3 figs at full price but what can ya do :)

Plenty of police, NinjaGo and Starwars as well.

If anyone in Perth spots the 2 small creator sets (front-end loader and airplane) please let me know where you spotted them and what the normal price was.

Big W had minifigs now but Target a better price at $3.92. Got myself a couple to finish a set. Much easier to read bumps with a small torch held to the side.

Thanks for the notes on the log cabin but has anyone on the south side of Sydney or blacktown area spotted it? I am up that way on the weekend target would be best with 20% off.

Or a myer I guess.

I saw the Log Cabin at my local target for $39.xx was very tempted to buy it....but I couldn't quite justify it!!

Visited Myer Sydney CBD today, very disappointed I didn't head there earlier as many of the more desirable sets were nabbed. It was mostly ARC-170s and last wave's Star Wars Hoth battlepacks.

They only had 2 V-Wings left by the time I got there, and they didn't have multiples of 3 of almost anything else, so picked up the City Helicopter/Limo.

Used a second BTGOF deal with a triple battlepack (2x Mandos, 1x new Clones)

Copy pasted from the V-Wing thread, but thought maybe there are locals who have this problem too.

I just assembled one of the V-Wings.

[...] there was wrong with the sticker sheet. When I pulled it open, all the edges were peeling back off the sheet as if the stickers were shrunken. Upon application, the edges would not give so I cheated a bit and used a thin film of paper glue and held it in place while it dried but no dice, the edges would not stay in place. My main concern is that left like this, the edges would accumulate dust and such and just worsen.

Here are a couple pictures. The problem stems from the opaque stickers, not the clear Imperial insignia ones on the side. Did anyone else notice this problem with their V-Wings? Note that this it's the Australian summer where I am so would heat be an issue? I never left the box in the sun and it was in an air conditioned store.

Yep same issue! Contact Lego Aust for a replacement sticker sheet?

As of earlier today, Target in Morley had not only the new Creator sets (log cabin etc) but also ALL the new Atlantis sets including the big temple with all the grooved column pieces (naturally I couldn't say no to buying that set at 20% off). A few picked-over boxes of figs also. (although Target in the CBD seems to be the best place to find figs right now or maybe MYER CBD)

MYER Morley had the Creator stuff, don't remember seeing any figs though (but wasnt paying attention). K-Mart had nothing notable. Didn't check TRU.

Thanks for that news, jonwil, are you in WA (just going from memory here)? If the atlantis sets have hit WA, there's a good chance they've made it to Adelaide, and I like you I won't be able to resist the atlantis temple.

Edit: For those in Sydney I just spotted this Dark side developer kit for local pick up which looks like a bargain to me at the buy it now

My 2 boxes of series 3 minifigs turned up today, my extra 2 fishermen to make up 6 whole sets isn't here yet but I'm gauging interest to see who might like to buy a set, or leftovers. I'm looking at AUD$80 a set which includes postage within Australia (or pickup in Brisbane\Springwood). PM me if you're interested, otherwise they're off to ebay, or I'm even tempted to start a bricklink store...

Also I tried diligently to find out what was in each packet via the dots but I gave up in the end, some had no or 1 dots that I could see, some had 6! dots. So the packets have been opened to verify contents but that's it.

I'd imagine so. If it's an Australian issue (as I haven't heard about it elsewhere), then I'd like to imagine it was due to the heat, rather than just a dodgy batch of sticker sheets.

I'll probably try contacting them tomorrow.

My box arrived too. Opened it and used the codes to work most out. Had to open a few packets because I ended up with 6 fishermen. It confused me because I thought there was only 2 in a box. Someone mentioned here they got 3 sets in a box. Well I only got 1 snowboarder. Good news was at BigW I was able to get 3 more out of 1 box easily as I remembered the dot code.

Mmm to get an emerald night! Or Atlantis temple?

Well it was going to happen eventually, checked one BigW tonight and someone thought it would be a good idea to open up around 30 minifigs and leave them behind. If anyone sees this kind of behaviour give em a clip around the ears.

Did spot the Log Cabin at Midland Target.

Myer's a good place to get place the Log Cabin, if you can get 3 - just bought a bunch in Cannington. :classic: And 5765 Transport Truck is also available.

Myer Cannington and Booragoon don't have S3 figs, but the city does, why is that? Deliveries are late?

That Atlantis sounds very tempting as well, but have not seen it yet. Went to Bullcreek and Cannington - no Atlantis nor any S3 figs at all. Frustrating to know that Morley has them.

I agree, Kmart has nothing much - you can get the Rebel trooper pack for $15

TRU Cannington has nothing good. Everything's at full price. And the store is deserted.

This is why I hate blind-packed toy waves. I know it gives the toys a sort of fun 'lucky dip' element, but it always brings out the worst in hardcore collectors. Hot Wheels does this all the time with car waves and you can always tell because the aisle is littered with unwanted cars and wrecked packaging. The occasional Japanese anime toy collections are the worrrrsstt.

BTW if anyone is looking for it, the new brick box with the green baseplate lid piece is now available (spotted it in various places)

When I rang Lego Aus asking for a replacement sticker sheet, they gave me some BS about not replacing them, so I just used the replacement form on the Lego website, where they sent out my replacements without any questions (or cost) - they came all the way from Europe.

Stopped by Myer on impulse - 1 opened box of series 3 minifigs. Apparently it arrived today (along with a bunch of other stock) - and there appeared to be close to 60 packets in there. I'd (conveniently) lost my dot code sheet last time I went looking (unsuccessfully) so I had to go by memory & feel. Memory I can handle, but feel I find rather difficult.

After 40 minutes or so I finally confirmed the shape of an ovoid shield and my life was complete, haha. For some reason I also bought some SW battle packs: 2 clones & a Mandalorian. 3rd one free.

Apart from Ninjago and the more recent Star Wars releases there wasn't much that looked newish. No log cabins, sorry!

Couldn't be bothered going anywhere else after that, I just wanted to open my elf...

6 Fisherman! That's awesome! Where was the box from? I read that in the US it was just the first drop of series 3 boxes with only 2 fisherman (and therefore only two full sets), the second wave of boxes appear to have the following distribution:

Fisherman 4

Pilot 4

Indian 3

Samurai 4

Snowboarder 3

Space baddie 3

Sumo 5

Mummy 5

Elf 3

Tennis Player 4

Racecar Driver 5

Gorilla Suit 4

Alien 3

Hula Girl 3

Rapper 3

Baseball Player 4

My box came from Germany. There was only 1 snowboarder but I got about 4 from bigw by remembering the code only had to check a dozen packets to get them. I think I got 6 racedrivers as well as the 6 Fishermen. Happy now got 4 sets. I wish Myers stock was up to scratch no minifigs there no creator.
