Myer Carindale still had 3 odd sets of the straight rails and flexithings.

Double check the price though, as they tried to apply the 20% discount to $29.95 when it was marked at $24.95.

If they'd been out in Australia earlier, I might have actually paid the $10 per minifig cost (oh, didn't you hear, that's going to be LEGO Australia's new price for Series 5, since they've heard we enjoy paying inflated prices so much!) to get them at the same time as our northern hemisphere brethren.

You can't be serious... they won't sell any. I certainly won't touch them, I only went with the $5 because postage would counter getting them cheaper from overseas - no way do I think the minifigs are worth $5. $3, $4 maybe.

Has anyone seen the POTC Captain's Cabin yet?

I did on Saturday Target Castle Plaza, now an interesting tale was told to me by their staff -some of the boxes had DO NOT PUT OUT UNTIL MAY 15th and the only way they could put them out earlier was a memo from their head office. But since not all the boxes had this - well at least the boxes without said labels were put out for sale. Go figure, the sets released are for the older films. That makes it easy as I only want the Mill and Island of Death sets with the London Escape and one other set to be purchased with out the wife finding out....well straight away !

Looks like my best chance of finding the captains cabin is to ring around all the Target and TRU stores to see if anyone has stock.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it or not but TRU.com (US) has the new city/marina items for sale on their website.

Couldn't find them on Lego.com at all....

Looks like Lego Australia now has POTC up on its store, limit 5 per customer but at those prices not to sure if that's a problem.

Nope, they are the same prices as I scan at Target on Saturday, I would say a restriction on how many you can buy is to do with stock levels than anything else.

I dont know if this has been reported before but LEGO are now selling the Architecture sets on Shop @ Home to Australia

They have the Farnsworth House, Empire State Building, Space Needle, Solomon R Guggenheim Museum and Fallingwater listed.

Not sure if this is better/cheaper than buying it from Bricklink though.

Yet again WA gets shafted.

Not a single POTC set has made it across the Nullabor :(

Tried every Target store I can get to as well as all 4 TRU stores, none have stock.

Maybe you could wait for the trucks/trains to cross the Nullarbor, it's not like stock is beamed down straight from the factory, arriving everywhere at once... it goes from Denmark to Sydney first, then from there to the rest of the country (however long that takes). No one gets shafted, the further you are away, the longer you have to wait.

THEY WILL TURN UP! :classic:

TRU doncaster (victoria) has 4192,4182,4183, and 4193. Prices as expected .... Local targets/bigw did not appear to have any though.

A second point:- with TRU in USA having marina and the new castle stuff hopefully we should soon? Any ideas when?

And a third point:- what happened to pharoas quest stuff?

I think we're getting the new Kingdoms line around August (a little later than the USA). As for Pharaoh's Quest we haven't had any definitive information on it. Some have suggested it might be a Target exclusive for a couple months like Pirates was a couple years ago, before being widely available. So it may pop up at the July sales. However, there is precedent for Lego not selling certain themes in some countries. I believe at least the first wave of Space Police 3 wasn't available at retail stores in the UK at all.

Like many others I just bit the bullet and ordered them all from overseas. I think a few of the PQ sets are still available on Barnes and Noble that ship fairly cheaply to Australia, although I've found their mid-cost shipping option way quicker than their standard low cost one.

Im really surprised that people are excited about the deal, I am not.

The only ground breaking development is that Australia is included in the Free shipping offer, a first

we've ever seen and perhaps more to come for us in the future, hopefully with better sale prices given

the inflated prices we pay?

But the discounted prices on the SW Lego sets clearly shows that the price of shipping is actually

included in the 'discounted price'. Shame really, since the sets on offer can easily be purchased

from department stores on a percentage off sale much cheaper.

Otherwise the price of the Dropship is no match for the clearance price from K-Mart last year at $149

along with the Tantive IV price of $169 from K-Mart also.

$5 dollars off Republic Swamp Speeder.

$9 dollars off Cad Bane's Speeder.

$17 dollars off AT-AT walker.

$60 dollars off Tantive IV.

$60 dollars off Dropship with AT-OT Walker.

$40 dollars off UCS Jedi Starfighter.

Given the 'inflated' Australian prices as compared to the US pricing, these are no specials, the only one

I can justify is the AT-AT walker considering that it's a Toys'R'Us exclusive and only available from them,

it's probably the best priced set given the free shipping and for those unable to get to a Toys'R'Us store.

Jump on the band wagon for the free shipping on other Lego sets, but as for the advertised 3rd and 4th of

May Star Wars sale....... LET DOWN.

No excitememnt here, I was just reporting the facts to let others know about it. If anyone missed out on the dropship on clearance I don't think it's a bad buy at the sale price. The free shipping is great for those that want to stock up on shop at home exclusives. It might be the last time us in Australia will be able to get a Medieval Market Village for $150 including shipping.

I had heard it was a Myer exclusive, third quarter.

We've had free shipping before last year. Only time it is worth buying from SOH. Having free shipping again is great news, there is a Maersk train on it's way for me :).

Yeah the sale isn't really that great. However I missed out on the Dropship last year and the discount price isn't too bad, and I've been wanting the Maersk train since it came out but I didn't want to pay $250 for it, I know I could order them from bricklink, but I much prefer buying from LEGO, myself. The free shipping is probably the best thing to come out of this sale, as stated above me, you can stock up on exclusives.

I'm with you - missed Dropship (wasn't even buying then!) so this is attractive. And from a few marketplaces searches this is by far an awesome price.

Maybe Lego will do us a bulk Aussie Eurobricks discount!

Edit: And 1 Dropship coming my way :)

If anyone in Perth wants train track, TRU in Cannington had the flex track, points and I believe the other packs.

Plenty of the bank robbery set in K-Mart at Carousel also.
