K-Mart have 15% off this week. The picture shows the new Indy and Technic sets.

(Both lines are over-priced this year so 15% puts them back to last years prices! )

Ok guys, my sister called to yack my ear off, she told me she saw kmart is having 15% of all lego, starts this Thursday the 12th.

Grrrr god damn firefox crashes, i swear its 1000times better than ie, but crashes 1000 times more.

Storm Lasher is OK. I love the little fly thing. Actually, that was the only reason I bought it

Technic prices are a bit spiky. $20 for that tiny bulldozer! Ouch. There goes my dream of doing a Russian doll set of dozers

If everyone is buying CW minifig packs, how long are prices going to hold up? The ebay 10186 General Grievouses that went on sale peaked very quickly and flatlined once the half price stock flooded the market :sceptic:

ISC, I don't even know how you can think about buying Lego when you're moving house. I'm having pre-emptive nightmares about packing for the next move myself! Similarly, natelite, if you're thinking of fleeing Chatswood, what are you going to do with your collection if you take a job OS?

Sorry mate at this stage I may pass on an order, unless they miraculously find more Garages on sale :cry_sad:

Besides, Im moving house soon, so ordering will prove most problematic as to where to send it :sceptic:

Thats alright, but if you change my mind let me know :sweet:

it seems cheap but you gotta factor in the shipping! i'm getting the magnet sets to help fund my shipping cost!

storm lasher? nah...mediocre, just like the rest of the ef sets. i only got it for the troll swords. EF went downhill after the first season just like heroes.

True :sceptic: how much is shipping these days?

And personelly I really like preety most most of the three seasons of EF

See the thing is the only way I'll be able to get stuff off S@H is through some one else because my mum would never get stuff of the internet, especially Lego :hmpf_bad::cry_sad:

Whats the crack with the magnet sets, they look like normal mini figures just glued to a magnet base.

TLC has finally gotten around selling SW figures without a set. There was talk of conflicts between TLC and Hasbro I think about licensing when it comes to producing SW figures. Attach the normal figure to a base, stud attachment not glued, and you now have a way of getting cool figures without spending $280 on Solar Sailer, AAT, and Republic Shuttle.

As an aside, a friend from Lego stated that LEGO hates the ridiculous after market prices charged on BL etc for minifigs, so its an attempt to curb this as well.

The figures are exaclty the same as the normal ones in everyway. fully movable and pull apartable (nice word) just coming with a magnet brick as base.

For someone like myself who has missed out on Slave Leia, Anakin, Darth Maul, Mace, Yoda etc its a godsend

yeah, i'm trying to sell out asap before it "flatline" as you call it.

good point. i was assuming they would ship my family and belongings as in the past... but the world is very different now. :sceptic::tongue: well, expect lots of sale from my shop if no one is paying for my shipment! cheap couch and furniture for sale!

i doubt that's the case. if i'm wrong however, can you tell your friend to tell lego to sell more mfs from the sail barge set? those are ridiculously expensive. i like to see a lando (skiff guard), gamorrean guard, and a third figure. would buy lots and lots of that set. the skiff guard helmet is excellent as a samurai helmet and the gamorrean guard doubles up as an elite troll!

Well its not rational thinking thats for sure! Have you been speaking to my wife or something? Voices of Reason have no place with a lego addiction!

Well I would love a skiff set of magnets figures too. So you wont be spotting all the sales on the Aussie thread if you move  Still you gotta go where the cash is, and you will still be on EB bugging me

Dude are you for real, so if i buy this set, the royal guard is exactly the same mini figure i got in the ISD.

http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?...n=472&d=322

I wonder how many people realise they dont need to spend 20+ bucks on single mini figures on ebay any more.

Bring on one with Jango, Boba looks good, but looks like a clone blaster, not the big thing like they used to use for cameras.

Yup, Im for real. The thought of a few extra Royal guards is appealing.

Just checked the US price ($15) so not much of a mark up there for us ($17)

yeah, if you don't look at the shipping cost! i think europe's got a better deal. 10 eur and much lower shipping cost.

plus if you check BL, you will see the competition is very fierce now. i can't even sell mine. :( oh well, slow and steady then.

So you wont be spotting all the sales on the Aussie thread if you move  Still you gotta go where the cash is, and you will still be on EB bugging me

i dont know yet. i might still be here next year. in this current job market (especially in my industry) it's hard to figure out what your next step is because every rule is being rewritten. :sceptic: let's just take one day at a time.

 Ooops!

I'm going to wait until the Indy sets are at least 20% off before buying them, it's only a matter of time...

Nah, couldn't wait! I needed Willie for my (almost finished) Taj Mahal! I bought a discount discount magnagaurd figher too. :sweet:

So where stocks the magnets, or is it a S@H only thing.

Um that is not correct, Pensioners and Unemployed dont get any money, I am not getting anything as i am long term unemployed due to health problems.

KMart sales - At my local they had the V-19's on clearance for $65 - ao after the 15% got it for about $55, sweet!! They did have the Magna fighters heavily discounted as well, but I'm not that thrilled with that kit so didn't bother. They were running low on Clone battle packs (which I've noticed KMart have dropped the regular price from $20 to $18.88).

On a different note - does anyone know if and when the Pirate line will hit retail in Australia?

The Pirates are out in New Zealand stores, so it can't be much longer till they arrive in Australia. :classic:

Sweet, just got a call from my sister, got me a V-19 normally $80 down to $65 got the 15% and now its $55.

She said they also had the AT-AP and magna guard down in price too, looks like kmart trying to get rid of last years sets, or stay afloat during the recession.

I didn't scan them, but the Droid Gunship was $57 before the 15% off sale. Heaps of stuff in stock, just nothing I want. Went to Target and picked up the last 2 Clone battlepacks, but like everywhere else, they had plent of the Assasination Packs available
