Don't forget Myer usually has an extra 10% of catalogue items at some stage during its Toy Catalogues (usually near the beginning and end).

I'm not parting with any of my POTC, it's going to hard enough to pay off three lay-bys....train might have to be cancelled :cry_sad:

I'll make ye walk the Mega-Blok plank for suggesting such a thing Dotty-Mikey !

:jollyroger:

Arrr, that be a fate worse than eternal enslavement aboard the Flying Dutchman for the Aussie AFOL! :pir-grin:

Okay, no one has to give their collection to anyone, as long as they don't accuse them of making up sales. After all, TanTile's timely report kicked off the search and got a lot of people their Black Pearls at 20% off last weekend. Without him, we might still be expecting it to be an exclusive to the independents. :pir_laugh2:

Just got the email from Myer:

"As a valued MYER one Member, you'll receive an additional 10% off toys, books, CDs, DVDs, appliances and portable audio from our current toysale catalogue for 4 days only!

Simply present your MYER one Card at your favourite Myer store from Thursday 3 until Sunday 6 November 2011 to be rewarded."

Although Myer has no general 20% off Lego (well not according to catalogue and some discounts are less than 20%) they do have 25% off all board games and some Lego games are more than 25% off, including atlantis game reduced from $40 to $25, Creationary from $50 to $35 and Ninjago from $40 to $27. All of these are before the extra Myer One 10% discount.

Toy Corner (SA) 25% off starting tomorrow. Store stock only, but maybe the odd bargain to be had as they have some rare stuff, but can be over retail with some items.

That's the first I've heard of that, looks like I'll pop in and see Heath....need parts for road signs. :classic:

Oh, and I checked BigW Elizabeth - no BP's yet.

Outer Rim Trading Co has some good discounts at the moment on Pirates of the Caribbean (25-35 per cent off), Cars (20-40 per cent off) and Duplo Cars (20-50 per cent off).

(And I might add, I like the way ORTC does business: easy-to-use website, no BS pricing, and ships straight away. Recommended.)

For those in Adelaide, the 25% off at Toycorner has led to a very busy shop, staff were doing a very good job considering the number of people shopping there though. Some of the better deals I saw were heaps of the impulse sets from a couple years ago that are $4.50 after discount, includes Pirate, Space Police and City sets that I saw. They also had the two Winter Village sets at a little above RRP (marked price) but still very good value after 25% off. I wouldn't go there trying to do a big parts order, you may be waiting a while.

Anyone in Perth, David Jones cbd has y each of the pet shop, grand emporium & fire brigade plus unimogs, black pearls and cargo traind. Looks like they just re-stocked, maybe there is an xmas sale comming soon. I only wish I could afford a pet shop to go with the grand emporium I bought last year.

They are offering 15% offif you use a David Jones store credit card. I'm tempted, but worn if I hold out, they always have a 20/25% in December.

Myer "Super Saturday" this weekend - the usual 3 for 2 deal on toys, in-store & one day only.

(Edit:) They also have 30% off books - last time I went they had a "Essential Collection" box set with 3 downsized sticker books + X-Wing polybag 30051 for $20 pre-discounts. This one can also be found at Costco for $13.

One or two decent prices on the Creator sets at Big W starting Thursday:

bgw_prod_j00516857_c_001_r01_017_PTN.jpg

Hillside House is $68. This is $20 less than Big W's regular price, but actually 32% off Australian RRP and on a par with Amazon.fr, so not a bad price for a nice Creator house if you don't already have this set or for a gift or for pieces to make other houses...
