distortme Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Has anyone spotted any new SW sets at Myer? None in Adelaide store.
Xyver Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I was at Myer Carindale on Sunday, it was good timing as they had the 3 for 2 sale going, but they had very little Lego left. I'm not sure they even had any Star Wars sets at all. I did pick up some of the new City Vehicles though, so was happy with that. They also had 2 Tower Bridges in stock. 3 for 2 would've been a great deal on them, all those pieces...
Appswasere Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Got a email from Toys R Us and they are having a sale on selected Lego items link to catalogue They have sales across the whole 2012 Star Wars range and selected City and Ninja Go. Damn I just bought the y-wing on monday, ohh well that's what you get for being impatient
lightningtiger Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Oh, the tiger did his happy dance at Target TTP today, lucky me - I was allowed to pull out of each box for purchase (actually four sets went on layby ).....plus at 20% off....... ! The Batcave came home with me, 102 bucks sweet score eh ? I have finished bags 1 and 2, Bane's drill machine is AWESOME ! Now to make some more money to get the rest off layby.
Treadwah Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) Just a quick question, is the pet shop an exclusive? The two Myers I spoke too didn't seem to carry it. Edited February 1, 2012 by Treadwah

jonwil Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Ah, I think David Jones had it as an exclusive late last year. Yep, it was most definatly a David Jones exclusive.

Whup Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 (edited) After the sale they will have the low price of $14.75 witch is cheaper than Big W @ $16 each. Not bad. Just picked up the Death Star planet for $12 at K-Mart - it looked like someone had already been through and cleared out many of the Death Star's since there were only a few compared to dozens of the Naboo and Tatooine versions. Also, unless I'm mistaken the next poster will start page # 500 for the topic! Thanks for all the tips everyone - I think this thread has probably cost us all a lot more than it's saved Edited February 2, 2012 by Whup

Thanks for all the tips everyone - I think this thread has probably cost us all a lot more than it's saved It is as I expected, so far I have seen only 1 Death Star. If it is still there tonight I will grab it, if not no biggie, I don't want it too badly. (It was hiding behind an entire system of Tatooines & Naboos.) Target had a big almost empty shelf space where planets had been (a real Death Star must've been through there recently ).

Big T Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 DC sets at Target? I can confirm that. The Target Launceston had all of the DC Superhero sets (barring the Funhouse and the hero factory style ones). Picked up the Batmobile/Two Face. Brilliant set. The others can wait a little bit, that was the one I wanted most.

Can you stop complaining about being the last place on earth to receive LEGO sets now? We still haven't received these sets in Sydney & the suburbs around so you've beaten us.

Those SW planet sets at Kmart have been selling well, Ingle Farm only had a total of five left this afternoon !
Big T Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 I think Funhouse is a TRU exclusive. I am not sure about the release date though. I hope it's not a TRU exclusive, don't have one down here in Tasmania, but you're probably right. It'll be interesting to see what kind of price it ends up being down here, and when it arrives.
