I wish MYER would stop having all these specific sales and just have a good old 20% off all LEGO sale... (although my budget is tapped out right now :)

Now on the fire copter front I have been told that letters were sent out to all the dealers explaining that there was quality control issues with the product and supplies are few and far between so don't go holding one's breath......unless you are near that particular David Jones......might pay the tiger to make some phone calls tomorrow !

Looking more at the fire helicopter, I just realized it doesn't have as many useful bits in it as I thought so I probably wont bother buying it :P

This year I told myself I will only buy things I have an actual use for in my MOCs, I bought far too many sets in the past that I dont actually have a need to buy (like the last fire helicopter for one)

I picked up a Rancor Pit for c.$70 today at Target in their 20% off Star Wars sale. Still no sign of any of this wave's exclusives though, either there or at a nearby Toys R Us (which also had the new, non-exclusive sets on shelf).

Has anyone seen the new fire helicopter in a retail store yet?

I saw it in BigW on Tuesday, so should be out everywhere I guess.

Thanks for the heads up - just got a couple. This is cheaper than I paid in the US for this kit (those US sales taxes can really add up on purchases) - perhaps us Aussies don't always have it that bad.

This is why this forum is awesome! :classic:

Thanks for letting us know Alien24

Just got back from Big W Noosa, with the 2 large Super Heroes sets, both were $68 each. I know that it's not that great a deal, but I'm impatient.

At Target in Victoria Park and Bullcreek, WA, spotted Monster Fighters, Legends of Chima, new Ninjago, new City and SW sets.

The Vic Park store had Dino, Batman vs Mr Freeze, LOTR Attack of the Wargs, the Rancor Pit, and AT-RTs

I was really after the new SW Planets, but they only had one Naboo. :hmpf_bad:

Was Big W the only place that had them? Has anyone seen them in a sydney Big W?

Yeah it was, I checked all stores, Myer was just getting new fire stuff, Kmart had the price tags for the sets, but no actual sets, and Target had Star Wars but no BP's

Did they have Arkham Asylum? Or is that exclusive to somewhere else? Soo jealous! haha

I wonder how many they have remaining. Target did have the exclusive on it, but surely their supply is dwindling now

I have the feeling they may be trying to clear their inventory, good for us though :-)
