Heading down tomorrow to get some for christmas presents! Did you see the stationary too? The Lego men pens are $5! My kids love them, good stocking fillers too!

Thanks. I got Myer to price match on the Grand Prix Truck, they just had to check that it didn't go to below cost price for them.

Target's 50% off Hobbit sets ends today for those who were thinking of getting any!! Most stores are just down to the Wargs, Mirkwood and Riddle of the RIng sets..

Most new SW sets in Kmart now, RRPish. Monster Fighters restocked big time, every set except Zombies (which is exclusive to BigW I think). Friends set Mia's Magic Show on clearance for $10.

Yeah mine was down to those 3 on the weekend already... I grabbed a couple to give away, the older lady behind me at the checkout said "you're too big for that stuff", I said "nahh  ", she said "my 42yo son is still buying Star Wars things  ". The young guy behind her with his girlfriend had some Hobbit sets too, so take that!

For those in WA, Toyworld in Fremantle has a LOT of stock right now. Including the Super Star Destroyer, Grand Emporium and Kingdoms Joust. No other modulars though.

MYER in the CBD has a full load of stock including Horizon Expresses and Mini Modulars (no VWs or Sopwiths though)

Bit late since the sale has finished but Target in Fremantle still had the Hobbit Goblin King set when I was there earlier.

I just heard from a LEGO rep that the final series of planet sets will not be coming to retail in Australia, due to poor performance in sales.

I assume you mean NOT coming to retail? Otherwise it sounds like they're dumping their unwanted crap on us!

Oops sorry, yes they are NOT coming to retail.

Well, I'm not surprised they don't do so well........since not even Coles Supermarkets can't even move them !

Now oddly enough another TRU catalogue has come out with the three great vehicles released this year for 19.99......but all the other city sets are normal price. :look:

I'm one of the few who liked the planet sets, unfortunately they were never going to tke off, the Chibi sets that have been previewed for 2014 look a lot better, $16 for what little you got in a planet set was always going to be a bit of an ask, shame they didn't do some of the CW planets they may have struck more of a chord with kids...

Lol

Coles is not exactly a big mover of lego, we just got a new box of series 7 figs to sell.............

Scored myself a Grand Emporium for my wedding anniversary yesterday! My wife didn't have time to pick one up or order it online so she gave me the cash to go buy it! Thankfully Mr Toys in the city still had some - I didn't mind paying full RRP as I just wanted to get one before they go extinct!

She didn't think it was a very romantic present for me but I told her it was the best present ever!

Coles have mini-figs???

All the Woolworths and Coles in my surrounding area no longer sell Lego Collectible Minifigures - they used to - I gather that it is due to the fact that the CMFs were sitting ducks in the sometimes unsupervised toy sections. Shame.

Yeah in the bigger stores like mine, we even had a few of the planet sets but they are gone now....

My local Coles had about 12 boxes of series 4 out until recently...even the thieves seemed to leave them alone. No idea what happened to them.

On a more serious note, has anyone seen new Castle or Galaxy Squad in the wild yet?
