Big W around here are selling the vehicles for $22 which is the true $6 saving. Also Target Armadale had Azaris Bakery for $44

Ah, someone there spotted the boo-boo and didn't want a phone call from the ACCC eh ?

Might pop into Myer TTP today with their 20% off sale.....hmm, fingers crossed for DC SH sets.

Not sure if this is new, but saw the Gorilla Grodd and Aquaman sets at Target today. Also saw the small Hydra car with Thor and Hawkeye (although reading above, it seems AoU sets have been around for a few days)

Oh, do tell which Target where ?

Sydney, I think it's called Broadway Shopping Centre?

Toys R Us Garden City has Simpsons House, Elves, Ecto-1, Marvel and DC Super Heroes, a bunch of Architecture including the Lincoln Memorial (first sighting in Australia as far as I know), Speed Champions and the dark green Mini.

Big W has Marvel and DC Super Heroes and Speed Champions.

Target has Simpsons House plus Marvel and DC Super Heroes. Oh and the new Pirate Ship plus the Creator parrot (something else I haven't seen in stores before)

K-Mart has the Agents Toxica set (with the guy in the white radiation suit) on clearance for $45 and the big double blade helicopter thing on clearance for $49. None of the trucks though. They do have DC, Marvel, Speed Champions and Elves.

MYER has Speed Champions, Marvel and DC. (picked up the Green Lantern set, the small Iron Man set and the McLaren at the 20% off sale)

There will be plenty of Lego in the Drop Zone sale at Big W sometime this week or next week. Can't remember what but I know the Utapau Troopers will be $12. The Ghost, Mos Eisley Cantina, Jedi Scout Trooper, some Lego City sets, and Lego Movies are some of the others I remember but not the price.

Seen various reported deals including

Lego Movie SSS! for $90

Metalbeards Sea Cow $220

AT-AT $90

Cargo Train $150

Technic Cargo Plane $100

B-Wing $45

Ultra Agents Truck $80

Battle for NinjaGo City $80

If you can get to a Big W (especially one that might actually have stock) DO IT and DO IT NOW, some of these deals are the bargain of the century (although even at $220 the Sea Cow is overpriced for what it is)

$150 on the cargo train though is a bargain and I am seriously tempted by it.

Big-W clearance at Robina:

Star Wars deals:

AT-AT $90 (There were 2 at my Big W and I only bought one for some other lucky person.)

Mos Eisleys: $70 (About three left, snagged one)

Snowspeeder: $35. (At least 20 boxes, bought a couple)

Jedi Scout Ship: $60 (Maybe 3 or 2 left)

City deals:

Artic Outpost: $30 or $35? I can't remember clearly but I remember a 3

Race car: $10 (bought one looked cool)

That's about all my Big W had on clearance but quite the haul, will be checking other Big Ws once I have some funds (Might be to late :cry_sad: )

Did Robina have any cargo trains in stock? (at any price)

I was only looking for clearance tags, but I don't remember seeing it.

Got my Cargo Train at Loganholme. None left on the LEGO shelves at Loganholme or Beenleigh (although I didn't search the entire store so there might have been another one elsewhere in the store)

The Hobbit blu-ray combo is in the next Big W catalogue for $25 with 2 bonus minifigs, Bard + an exclusive Bain. I didn't even know the movie was on disc yet, I'm either under a rock or this is news? (Price after 6/4 is $34)

When will the blu-ray combo first go on sale!? Need to pick one up ASAP :sweet::laugh:

Greetings Aussie EBers.

I'm flying out to Perth tomorrow for a couple of weeks before heading over to Brisbane for a couple of weeks after that.

While my wife isn't really going to allow me to go Lego shopping for the entire time I'm there I wondered if there were any particular places to hit in either city centre that might offer some of these sales?

They actually sound better than any of the UK deals we currently have.

Cheers for any advice or help! ;)

I suspect the Big W sale will have long gone by the time you get here (if current reports of "xyz store has been cleaned out" are anything to go by)

Also there isn't any Big W in Perth that is anywhere near the CBD or center of town There is a Big W in the Brisbane CBD but its crap.

The low AUD might help if you happen to be in town at the same time as a 20% off sale at MYER or something.

Brisbane CBD also has a Target & David Jones who also occasionally will do a 20% sales.

Most of the major shopping centres here are easy to get to by bus, they all have a direct bus going to them from the CBD. Garden City on the southside for instance has Kmart, Big W, Target, Myer, David Jones & Toys R Us.

If you do go you might find some bargains at K-Mart as they have some clearence stuff too. B-wing for $45 and Friends Olivias house for $79 come to mind.

Kmart has a handful of city sets on sale from tomorrow........29 bucks - city starter set, arctic copter set and 4x4 with power boat and 45 bucks - excavator & dump truck and arctic outpost.

I'm very jealous of all the people scoring AT-AT's for $90

Last year when TRU was intentionally or unintentionally doing 25% off one 50% off the second I did get the Cantina for $65, B-Wing for $60, Snowspeeder for $30 and AT-AT for $130, so it's not too bad.

I would buy another AT-AT or two for $90 though.

There was a clearance sticker for the imperial star destroyer for $100 but it was empty.. So jealous of whoever claimed that

Big W $25 with Lego or $34 without!

Yeah - I as looking at the $34 version and trying to work out why anyone would pay $9 extra for the same thing but without the minfigs. I can only speculate that it's supposed to be a limited promotional thing - but the $9 difference is still baffling.
