natelite Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 kmart has a 15% off all toys this week (from thursday) which includes lego.
DB24 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Awesome! time to get that technic front end loader
DarthSion Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 DK au is listing the Star Wars visual dictionary, its $39.95, is out 28.9.09. http://www.penguin.com.au/dk/ Did you guys know we can buy brickmaster, if you search for lego you can get a castle and pirate BM.
YG-49 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 FAIL The DK Visual Dictionary image is the prelim one.
Svelte Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 $39.95 for those Pirate and Castle Brickmaster books seems a bit high. I use this website to order a lot of books - free shipping worldwide and they're pretty speedy - most stuff arrives within a week: http://bookdepository.co.uk With the dollar at a good rate against the pound, all of these titles including the Visual Dictionary, end up in the $AUD25-27 range.
Violet Vynne Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 (edited) kmart has a 15% off all toys this week (from thursday) which includes lego. great! gonna pick up family home today then. update: picked up today around 90 dollars after discount. Edited August 20, 2009 by Violet Vynne
DarthSion Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Sigh, if only people who used fail failed to stay on sites, so immature its like pwned and l33t. Book depository, wasn't that where Oswald shot Kennedy, look ok, wouldn't use it for the visual dictionary though, want to make sure the Luke was with it. I think the BM is for a years worth not just one.
Svelte Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 I think the BM is for a years worth not just one. No; these one off books aren't anything to do with the American subscription with magazines and sets.
DarthSion Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Ah i see, still probably less then getting them from BL.
YG-49 Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Sigh, if only people who used fail failed to stay on sites, so immature its like pwned and l33t. Not a fan of jokes, now are we? Or would you prefer me to say win? WINThe DK Visual Dictionary image is the prelim one. I really liked the prelim one so this is great.
DB24 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 My Kmart has got all the new SP stuff, and the new indy sets.. dunno if thats old news or not
DarthSion Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I know slightly off topic, but all this talk of kmart is giving me flash backs, i guess most of you dont remember, but kmart had hollys, i wonder what happened to that, the one at sunnybank used to have a lovely gravy they did, and used to do big breakfast all day.
Darth_Legois Posted August 22, 2009 Author Posted August 22, 2009 My Kmart has got all the new SP stuff, and the new indy sets.. dunno if thats old news or not Does anyone know how much Kmart has them for? I dont think they could beat BigW's price.
Strand Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 For this weekend, Myer has a "buy 2 toys, get 1 free" (cheapest one is free, obviously) meaning if you grab 3 equally priced sets, it's a very nice 33% off. Midi-Falcon or Egg-ship for $40 isn't a bad deal

Last time they had it I got that construction bulldozer thing (forgot name), Clone BP & Assassin droid bp all for $40
TheDarkness Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 With K-Mart's 15% off, the AT-OT is down to $297
Svelte Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Does anyone know - have the Indy sets arrived at Myer yet? With the weekend offer it would be a good time to stock up on some extras. TheDarkness, does that mean that K-Mart is now selling the AT-OT at its original 'sale' price of $349? That seems weird. I haven't seen any in Sydney since the first few days of the sales, so I have no idea what they're doing with them nationwide.
TheDarkness Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Yes, they are tagged here now at $349, and then you get the further discount. Could be K-Mart screwing up, as it was over $400 not long ago and they may have doubled up on the discount. There were 8 on our shelves, so I am just going to monitor it and hope for some heavy discounting further down the road. Echo Base sets all disappeared quick, as did the clone battlepacks at $15.80 or whatever they were. The AATs aren't moving at all, so I imagine they will be the next lot to have a big price reduction
hollisbrick Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Just wondering, has anyone one seen any magnet sets (preferably SW) in normal retail shops?
DarthSion Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Retail stores no, online yes, including the "TFU" set, but not the chrome one. This place has some, they also have Ashokas fighter for cheaper then TRU. http://bttw.com.au/legoshop/index.php?main...=20a&page=2
YG-49 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Kmart has Space Police and Indy? I'll have to go soon to get a Ambush in Cairo!
jonwil Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Has anyone seen either of the space police III impulse sets around anywhere? Or the Agents 2.0 stuff?

UCS Falcon for '$1,149.95' and Endor for $250. Times like this make me feel lucky to have grabbed my Falcon at that Kmart sale.
I Scream Clone Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Does anyone know - have the Indy sets arrived at Myer yet? I haven't seen any in Sydney since the first few days of the sales, so I have no idea what they're doing with them nationwide. My Target had Agents 2.0 all the SW and Indy sets as well, man it was hard to resist. The packaging on the Indy sets is They finally got MMV in now the sale is over. Has anyone seen either of the space police III impulse sets around anywhere? Or the Agents 2.0 stuff? Agents at Target. Expect the Impulses closer to Christmas in a wave release. Probably Big W first.
jonwil Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 The odd thing about the impulse sets is that another local AFOL said that he found both of them at a Big W during the Big W sale. Assuming that wasnt a mistake (as in Big W being sent and/or putting out items they shouldn't have), its odd that they havent shown up anywhere else.
