I just built the dark trooper lego set, and I saw that all the lego legs had the same issue. One leg is clear glossy, and the other is more matt. Have anyone else noticed this?

They've been having color consistency issues for a few years now - particularly with clear pieces, though I want to say I've seen Jangbricks reference some problems with solid colors, too. I don't know if this is due to Lego's goal of altering the chemical make-up of their plastic or not, but it sure is frustrating. This is a premium product, and I think we all expect bang for our buck.

At least I have noticed it as well, though compared to the problems with the general color consistency (especially the color yellow has horribly inconsistent shades between individual bricks) and misprints on helmets (honestly, some custom makers produce nowadays more qualified helmets - the modern scout trooper still being an exception of excellence in the Lego brand), I have not really bothered myself about it.

I've noticed variation between the plastic finish on figures before, but never just a single leg. Any inconsistencies I've had have been from multiple copies of the same set, and it has been the entire assembly rather than just one piece, so I assumed they were coming from different factories.

If it bothers you (which is understandable considering they're mismatched legs) then you should contact Lego and they'll send out replacements.
