Prelude

On a friday afternoon, during the less busy time, Prince Philipp, has invited the Prime Minister to the Royal Gardens. 

 

"I feel honored by your invitation, your highness. What's on your mind?" 

"I am here as an emissary for his excellency, the king, whom you asked for a favor."

"How may I be of help?"

"Our family extends to a lot of countries and continents. Therefore, we have some connections to Liciolas, distant relatives. However, the government is worried about recent developments in adjacent countries.

Drug mafia. They are in need of some direct help, but seem also eager to  prepare themselves... to be more resilient... by acquiring weapons and tactics. Until then, we were issued some intel. "

"I understand. Thank you for that... hint!"

 

 

In the Crown Council Hall, the Premier meets Mr. Klotz, head of secret services, and GenLt Mannerstein, chief of staff. 

"Gentlemen, I have some delicate task for you. We are about to fulfill a secret mission under BoN disguise: we need to infiltrate Peluvia and intercept a drug shipment on a makeshift runway." 

"Omegas?" says while looking at Mannerstein with narrowed eyes?" The general answers "Omegas" with a slight nod", "HALO in, boat out". 

Omega Bataillon

 

Omega Bataillon, Charlie Squad: Lt XXX "Chief" XXX. , Sgt XXX "Ghost" XXX., Sgt. XXX "Tank" XXX, StaffSgt. XXX "Eyes" XXX

Peluvia

  

Charlie Squad jumped into the forests of northern Peluvia and marched for some days to their assigned destination.

 

"Chief, you are sure this is the correct place? That does not look like a makeshift runway we are supposed to find!"

At the end of the path they took, there is the river. The Lt hesitates and then orders "Okay ladies, secure the perimeter, I will have a look".He takes out his map and a compass for the correct bearings:

"ladies, that's the exact spot. Make yourself a home.

Setup

 

 

Ghost, Eyes, we will decorate our new home. Tank, cover us!"

And so the three start camouflaging their position while no. 4 stays on watch. 

Then the waiting begins.

 

 

Contact 

"Shhh, can you hear this?" asks Ghost, the pointman. "An engine."

 

 

Some moments later a truck maneuvers into the jungle, backwards, to the edge of the water and the back hatch swings open.

"Doesn't look like a plane to me", Tank, the machine gunner, whispers.

"Maybe some boat?" Eyes, the sniper, whispers back.

"Quiet!" the Lt. whooses the rest, "observe, stay put!"

 

Then a distant humming grows louder and a seaplane comes out of the clouds.

"Ahhh, that kind of runway!" Ghost whispers.

"Shhh!" the Lt. answers, while they observe the plane touching down on the river.

  

 

The plane slowly apporoaches the truck and stops nearby. Its door opens and a gangway is established between the two vehicles.

" person comes out of the plane and enthusiastically greets a person on the truck like old acquintances do.

 

And then the unloading starts. At least for one person, while the pilot of the plane rest on a wing and his acquantance watches the scene.

While the workers brings grey boxes out, he brings barrels of gold pieces into the plane.

Attack

"Ladies, our call", Chief whispers. 

"Gost you take the left flank and watch for the worker. Get a good position. Eyes, line up with the pilot. Tank, machine gun is silent, giving cover. 

I take no. 3.Shoot precise and silennt, wait for my command. We don't know weather there is fourth where their weapons are."

And so Gost and Chief work their way to their targets while Eyes picks up his target.

 

"One, two, Go!" 

Within one second, Ghost places a burst and Eyes a single shot in their targets while Chief puts his knife into his.

  

Aftermath

"Ghost, check the plane. thereafter, we clean up. Tank, cover the road!"

And so they put the bodies and the drug inside the plane, while Chief prepares a set of explosives.

"Secure the gold, we may need it for some special operations! Eyes, call in our taxi!"

"

  

While cleaning up, Ghost found some trophies. 

"They must have felt really safe here, didn't bother to carry their weaons"

"Our luck" Tank replies.

Exit

After a while, a spead boat arrives and picks them up. Chief picked up some interesting evidence from one of the trafficers for further investigation... 

 

And after some time, the fuse goes...

Great. You managed to make an otherwise small build seem gigantic with the different camera angles and all. The water effect on the speedboat is the best part.

Really good build! I liked the story you wrote to accompany it as well. The camera work on this is easily some of the finest, making really good use of different shots to support the story.

You earned 15 points. Excellent job! I'm in agreement on the water plane effects!

Great story and build. I like the tight, confined feeling you created with the jungle camera shots. As others have said, the water effects are wonderful.

Thanks guys for the kind comments! Was a bit afraid of being too picture-heavy, but want to put all the stuff into some kind of coherent story. 

Fun thing about the waves: it was some kind of double coincidence. First, I was back at Berlin some weeks ago and stopped by at the Lego store to pick up some stuff from their brick wall. Just picke some clouds and white parts as they might come handy in the future, esp. for a snow build. Making that water and waves stuff was an act of imporivsation at the very end when I didn't like the idea of a plain blue plate but also was lacking bricks to build something more elaborate as @Feuer Zug did.

Thaanks! Bellmuttet will invest any ressources to good use! Sidenote: shall we keep track of the bricks in that threat?
