Hello!

My entry for LEGO IDEAS/Dungeons and Dragons challenge. Wanted to build this kind of MOC for a really long time and finally competition motivated me to do that.

Tried to connect two worlds - real one where players are sitting by the table and fantasy one where they go using their imagination and PRG system. Hope that you like it. ;)

Team of brave adventurers has to stop Dark Wizard!

Will they succeed in this mission?
Will the troubadours sing songs in their honor?
Will there be piece in the kingdom?

Or maybe mom will call everyone for a dinner earlier?

If you enjoy my build, visit LEGO IDEAS and leave some comment there:

I love this so much!

I also love this, especially the way it transitions from real world to fantasy.  Thanks for sharing!

This basement looks great! And then the characters in the fantasy world have the same position as the figures on the table. Even the black figure is flying! So good. Love the whole moc

Wow, that is great!

It’s funny, the subject matter doesn’t appeal to me in the sense that I’m not a D&Der or table top gamer at all, but the whole thing impresses me. The siting of the figures, the amount of allegory in the dream state being upstairs in place of the outside world, and the grounding of the real world being the basement, they all tick big storytelling boxes for me. And it is aesthetically very pleasing. Nice one.

OMG!! This is so amazing! I love the build of the Golem and all the little details in both scenes. I love how the kid with the broken wrist has a character with a broken wrist. Is that Ninjargon newspaper from an actual set?

The only improvement I would make would be to have a domestic dog next to the girl playing the Ranger that's represented as a Warg or some other fantasy animal in the imagined scene.

It brings back so many memories of my childhood, from roleplaying and from Lego.

Superb build!

At first I thought the washing machine was having a major sud explosion.  :pir_tong2:

As someone who does love playing DnD, this creation perfectly captures the excitement and imagination of playing DnD. Amazing creation.

Oh my, this is incredibly charming and such a fun build! Like what Yperio_Bricks said above, your choice to mirror the positioning of each of the fantasy characters with their real-world counterparts is a very nice touch, alongside giving the wizard a cast to identify who he belongs to as a character.

In any case, nicely done with the white imagination clouds too. This is what makes visiting this website worthwhile!

Your creativity which makes five children's imagination is very fascinating!

Orange hair boy's hand is bandaged just like Blue Wizard's hand above
