Similar to team mechs, separately the big spoon looks empty without it's companion. But if there will be no dragon, then uh, where did all pieces went? And that huge gap in center will be unforgivable. But so far, i don't know what to feel about this one, like it's not super special so far and for a moment i thought this is legacy bounty. Maybe merged with dragon it will look better? Yeah I’m feeling the same way. I can see maybe 1100 pieces max, but that’s still 600 missing. Unless the interior is really detailed and the dragon is huge, I’m not really sure where these parts are going. As much as I hate to admit it, with the price, minifigs and design, this may be a bit of a dud. Hopefully official pics change my mind. I also think it will actually look very good in boat mode to be fair. I wonder if this is a recycled concept model for a legacy possession bounty? It definitely has the same traits, albeit the engines and colours are a bit weird. But the thin section in the hill is the same. Quote
Agent Kallus Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Well I think it looks good... Though I probably won't get it, star wars summer wave sounds incredible so I might limit my Ninjago spending to just the markets, I'd really like to get the docks and the city ( I have the gardens but currently unbuilt) and any with good discounts later. I do have the magazine subscription as well. Loving tge idea of the 'what if Lloyd didn't have elemental powers and became Samurai X' the fig looks great, if it was in something more cheaply massable than a book I might've tried to make a little squad with his parts. 8 minutes ago, a guy from somewhere said: I wonder if this is a recycled concept model for a legacy possession bounty? I think you're on the Money there, it certainly reminds me of the possession one ( but that's a good thing imo), though the colours at the back kinda give me MK vibes. Quote

THELEGOBATMAN Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Destiny's Bounty looks really cool, I love how smooth and detailed it is. I wish they've used more azure and dark yellow tho, it really makes the set pop. Surprising how well it works with red. Also, this wave Ninjago has some of the craziest leaks ever — a full five-minifigure magazine leak, LEGO leaking a picture of one of the sets themselves, and now a D2C leak from what appears to be a retailer pamphlet, plus the biggest set leaking through official images of a guide. Meaf Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Well it's a bit hard for me to say too much on the the Ninjago City Markets at the moment, but from what I can see it looks really good and pretty gigantic too. I will definitely need to do some rearranging whenever I pick it up. The bounty doesn't look bad, but it doesn't interest me much and as others have noted it seems rather small. That might just be down to the picture though. Quote

Vindicare Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 6 hours ago, a guy from somewhere said: Ok so, @Vindicare your friend may have hit the nail on the head here, I think it is 2 baseplates. Which is…. Insane. And it looks pretty filled out as well. Unfortunately it suffers from a lower middle but not as much as the docks. From left to right we have: A large tower on the left, brown building closest to the camera and a green one behind it. There’s a tree that looks like the 18+ bonsai tree ontop and a red curved building ontop of the brown one that connects to the green one in a curve, so maybe it’s a green house? The buildings cut off there, and in between the 2 sections there looks to be a cable car type build suspended between the buildings. I don’t think it will work as a function (no rails and no where to go) but it looks really cool. Behind it is a tori gate, so maybe the walkway wraps around behind the cable car and onto the next section on the left. At ground level in the middle, there’s a small bridge over the water and an open staging area with a market stand, and then what could be another bridge under the right section of buildings. The buildings on the left consist of a giant tori gate or red pillars closest to the camera at ground level to support the second level, so we can’t see much of the lower city unfortunately, however the second level buildings are mainly a blue or purple, and on top of that is a balcony with a building in the far corner, that could be an aquarium? Or maybe another glass greenhouse. There’s the iconic animal balloon ontop of this building, looks to be a pig with a Mohawk? That can’t be right…. We have had pigs already. This looks amazing, I love the build. Hopefully the minifig selection is just as good, I’m seeing at least Lloyd, Jay and maybe Kai? Also on the topic of baseplates, I can’t decide. This looks to be between 2 baseplates and 1 and a half. Could they be bringing back the old 8x32 baseplates? That would be a dream! I’ve been trying to get a hold of one for some time. I’m leaning towards 2 baseplates so far. It is going to be very expensive! Promobricks just confirmed it’s real! Blurriness aside, it looks fantastic & I’m so excited. There was a tram in the movie, so that must be it..so it might be a good ,I’d of show & movie as well. I still can’t believe we’re getting a two baseplate set. Wow! I definitely think it’s two. The buildings dot look as far as City & Gardens but that is a good amount of water in between the two. The bridge looks to be similar to that in the Airjitzu set. I’m glad it’s so different from the City one. I sure hope the wait for a better pic isn’t too far away. I NEED to see this thing better! Quote
CodFather1 Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Very blurry Ninjago set has leaked on instagram, not sure if it's legit or not, but I think it's the Temple of the Dragon Energy Core, judging by the GIANT ORB in the centre. The first half of the year was pretty easy on me, 4 marvel, 1 Ninjago and 4 Marvel, but between this, the Star Wars sets and potentially the Dreamzzz sets, this is going to be a hard year. Whatever the heck that blurry set is, I'm all for what I'm seeing. Looks like around 60% of the build will be devoted to the actual temple, with 40% going to that ship. I love the tail of the ship, and the set seems to include 5 golden characters (probably the ninja except Lloyd or Nya), and a Minifig in white, probably Wu. On the subject of the Bounty, I definitely think it will have detachable segments, I just hope they don't end up being as compromised and pointless as the Bowie's were, because they definitely seem to be pulling something similar here. I will probably buy it, unless the missing segments are a full on dragon, in which case that would probably be a dealbreaker. Honestly, the combination between the gardens and the market might just cause me to break my oath to not spent over $200 on a single set. I need to stay strong... Quote

Killian Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Is that a cable car in the middle of the Ninjago City Markets set? Looks like no Borg Tower. I suppose the tower on Ninjago City Gardens must be supposed to represent it. Intrigued to find out what clips on to the front of the new Bounty. Depending what comes with it, I might finally buy my first Bounty Quote

Modal Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 Man seeing the hype for a new Ninjago City build makes me miss having all the other sets, but I wouldn't have had room for another modular anyway. I will miss how amazing the building experience for them is though. Quote
someguy827 Posted April 21, 2023 Posted April 21, 2023 20 hours ago, a guy from somewhere said: As a D2C, it could be any time from now to its release. It probably won’t be revealed with the rest of the sets when they get revealed unless we get a friends style reveal which is unlikely. Our best chances of seeing the set lie with the Lego employees that receive the set early and leak it, like what happened in 2021 (god that was over 2 years ago?!). This isn’t the first time I’ve asked about when a set will be leaked only for it to happen the very next day 😂 As for the set, for now I’m getting more Gardens vibes than Docks vibes, so I think it will be more of a set for me to admire than to actually buy. Still very much looking towards official images, as the set does look like an entire city to me at first glance and I’m interested to see how the cable car works. Quote
Lyichir Posted April 21, 2023 Author Posted April 21, 2023 (edited) Whoa, lots of news today! Loving the look of the new Bounty, the azure accents really make it pop (similar to the teal accents on MK's vehicles in the Monkie Kid theme). Seems to have less space below decks than the previous ones, so I'm hoping it makes the most of that space with functions instead. The Markets picture looks promising but honestly I didn't expect anything different for the successor to the previous Ninjago City sets. Otherwise it's a little too blurry to make out many details. The presence of Vinny basically confirms Gayle Gossip, since it would not make sense to include him but not her. I am glad that we are finally getting Cyrus Borg, as well as Twitchy Tim (who we almost got in an accessory pack a few years ago); also, good to see that we did not have to wait long to get Miss Demeanor. 👍 I wonder if there are any more named characters, or if the rest of the Minifigs are just random citizens. While blurry, the Markets look excellent! The colour-blocking, variety of levels/heights, and structural details/texturing just that I can see make this a must-have! It looks like the right side may not have a walkway connection (at least on the front), so the shrine from the Gardens could fit there. The Bounty looks pretty good; I like the colours and shape (the slim midsection will presumably make it easy to pick up and swoosh), though the mast is quite sparse. I am reserving judgment on the engines, interior, and fore until we get pictures of the full set (for obvious reasons). I wonder if there is some kind of mechanism that rotates the engines when the mast is pushed back? That would explain the Technic construction and seemingly-excessive reinforcement at the base, as well as angle of the mast (all other models, as well as the ship(s) in the show, have a straight vertical mast). 🤔 Quote
Something_Awesome Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 (edited) Apparently Ninjago City Apartments is scheduled to be released in 2025 or 2026. Another modular for Ninjago. It's quite possible the set is already completed. I actually personally knew about City Market for a couple years. I just never leaked the information (I would not be believed anyway). The set had been done for a little while actually. My guess is LEGO waited till now to release City Market because they wanted to include a couple figs from the new series (that's just conjecture on my part). My guess is LEGO waited till now to release City Market because they wanted to include a couple figs from the new series (that's just conjecture on my part). Source is froggyshade on Instagram, and yeah I believe that. These sets are massive, and also a massive cash cow. I’m sure the payoff is huge for them, I do not buy any other sets over £150 ever unless it’s a Ninjago city set. Always been my own rule. I’m sure the markets has been in development before gardens was even finished, and I’m sure apartments is in at the very least sketch model phase done. I hope we get some more information on how these sets are created like we did for gardens Froggyshade has also put some interesting things up on his story on Instagram, part rant about some of the leakers in the community, but more interestingly, the minifig list for the markets came from him and apparently promobricks took it and ran (I’m not picking sides here), and he also says a lot about cancelled waves, shows of some old prelims of sets like jays Titan mech and kais mech rider (which was originally a chopper bike, and the bone king did have a horse), the fact that legacy was cancled due to poor sales and we where going to get a tread assault (damn it!) and a ninjacopter for zane, and a titanium dragon. more importantly information about crystalized however, such as how the last 10 episodes where rewritten and Wu would have died, and it would have been released last year to tie into the 10 year anniversary. Obviously take it all with a grain of salt but considering what promobricks told us before crystalized, like how the ninja turn into the golden dragon, it all lines up relatively well, and would explain the haphazard mess of the last few episodes.
