The main graphic for this comic includes Lloyd, Nya, Kai, Arin, Sora, the character that appears in the Heatwave Dragon set, and the Baby Dragon — and the comic writer calls it the 'All-New All-Different Team'.

So, judging by all the promotional materials, at first the series will include a new team of characters, mixing some of the Ninja with new warriors. 

This poses certain questions — for example, why do the regular retailer sets include no Nyas, but two Jays and Zanes? The other three Ninja have been missing from nearly all promotional materials, yet they are included more prominently in the sets than Nya, who's supposed to be one of the three main Ninja this season.

Once the offcial trailer releases then Jay, Cole and Zane will probably be more advertised on promotional materials

I gotta say, they are doing a great job hyping me up for this season. 

I like the way they are releasing the promotional materials — the pace is really good.

Also the fact we are getting the episodes from LEGO instead of from some secondary source is absolutely GREAT!

Yes, this is probably the most hyped ive been in a long time for a season. Way more than crystallised. I dont mean to ruin the fun but I do want to raise the concern of a Netflix release. That means every episode will be out day one, and Im pretty sure the hype will die in the next week. Unless Netflix changes, im going to be a tad bit worried for the full release of the season.

THIS. Unreal engine will be so good, and from the trailers already they look very highly detailed and the environments looks really good. Particularly the bridge battle scene with Ras, Rapton Raz and A&S. I also want to highlight the monastery shot from the second trailer, that could totally be a screen saver or a picture on a wall. Heck I may print it out and put it on my wall.

Yes June first release on most Netflix platforms. Check legos campaign website for confirmation in your country, but I believe we in the UK are getting them on June 1st.

Yes, wild brain are using unreal engine 5 for this, which explains the step (leap) in quality.

This annoys me I hope it will be 1 episode per week to keep the hype for the year but..

honestly seeing how 12 episodes of Crystallized were released in a week i'm definite LEGO will not make the same mistake with the first season of Dragons Rising

I wonder if parts of the LEGO assets made for Unreal Engine 5 will be eventually made for the rumoured LEGO season in Fortnite (currently still rumoured for Chapter 4 Season 4 based on test server data found)

As Epic and LEGO signed this partnership recently, and Epic is the creator for the UE5 + fortnite.

For context, "All-New, All-Different" was the tagline for Marvel comics from 2015-2019, which featured teams comprised of a mix of new legacy characters (such as Kamala Khan, X-23, and Miles Morales) and established characters (including Iron Man, Black Panther, Peter Parker, etc); it seems that LEGO is going in this direction for Dragons Rising. 👍

I have been wondering about this, as well - Are we sure that the Minifig lists are entirely accurate? Perhaps Nya was mistaken for Jay, since her new suit is mostly blue. 🤔

I agree - Usually this level of hype and trailer-analysis is reserved for properties such as Marvel and Star Wars!

Nah, Promobricks are the most reliable leak source there is. If they say it's Jay, then it's Jay.

I know that they are reliable, but they also only know the names and part-counts for some of the sets. Additionally, they state in their description of the 30650 polybag that they do not know if Rapton is a Minifig or a dragon, so they obviously have not seen any box art with characters' names (since Rapton has been revealed to be "not-Krux").

No, they stated that because it's a polybag, and polybags aren't shown next to sets. They are a completely separate thing.

She's getting a 10€ gimmick set, but I guess you mean the regular Nya suit, as the Spinjitzu one will probably include some weird water variant of her.

Apart from the 30€ LEGO Shop-exclusive 4+ set, the only possibility of getting her is another LEGO Shop-exclusive set, which costs thrice as much.

They really dropped the ball, as she's my second most-wanted OG Ninja from this wave (after Jay).

I believe the Sora mech race will have him, along with a few other sets. I’ll have to check later.

Good point. I also want to raise the question of what happened to all the people in the merge? From Arins POV it looks like a LOT of people die. Would be a good way to get rid of some background characters and bring in some new ones, EG misako, Antonia, skales and clutch powers?
