LEGO Ninjago 2023 Discussion

Dragon Energy Cores in the gimmick sets: 71777 has 3 red, 1 gold; 71778 has 3 cyan, 1 gold; 71779 has 3 green, 1 gold; The Zane car seems to have 2 blue ones.

The Sora Mech Bike set has Rapton.

The dragon head from last year's Jay bike reappears with a new print in the Kai and Ras Car Bike batte set.

Ras seems to have arm printing in all of the sets where he appears.

The Imperium dragon slayer hound has a brick built head.

The Destiny's Bounty seems to have a new Wu which has a cape.

The heatwave lava dragon has a purple dragon energy core.

Raz appears in the Zane Car which has both plastic and rubber wheels.

Arin's weapon seems to be a grappling hook.

So "powered" cores are colored as ninja. Maybe purple is for set's new female character?
Glad to know that Ras arm printing is a thing! I remember in magazine leak with low-quality figures you can see arm printing on Ras kinda, but i worried it was prelim variant;
Also from magazine leak you can see hook piece aswell.
Raz is mentiod to appear, meaning he's the name for golden soldiers, so black/gmg ones are real aswell

I am sure dragon energy powered cores are colour coded to each ninja only in the dragon power sets, but the rest of the sets contain random dragon energy cores

Is there any mention of sora having arm printing? I know that ras will, but animated sora has arm printing on her prosthetic/bionic arm

No one mentioned it, but I'm sure that if Ras has arm printing, then so will Sora.

The GOAT is at it again! He has confirmed that the bounty will have a dragon head, or rather a fully brick build azure dragon with a saddle for Arin. Whoever wished for a dragon for Arin, your wish is yours to keep!

Im not sure. The baby dragon is sand blue, a far cry from azure, although I could see it happening. We will have to see.

What day do you all think Ninjago city markets will be revealed? I know we've gotten rumors of the middle of march which could mean the 15th or the 16th exactly or some time in the days surrounding those two. I can't see them managing to keep this thing hidden much longer and even keeping it hidden to the 15th or the 16th could be a challenge.

They could actually, compared to crystalized there is not much set-related leaks going on

They could probably manage no massive leaks but something will eventually get out. I really hope its not middle of may though. Got some important dates around then.

So do you think the other summer sets besides the markets set could be revealed this week or only on the half of the month ?

so, are ras and raz the same character, or different?

I wonder if the zane-mobile will use the wheels from that $10 Kai set from the winter wave

Hopefully we'll see the sets today, and if not, then definitely tomorrow. JB Spielwaren wouldn't just tease them and then wait a few days.

Yes. I don’t want to give false hope like the guys who tried to predict the ninjago set images and just kept telling people “soon” whilst not having a clue. I think Friday is the most likely date, Lego can give the limelight to star wars today (happy may 4th!) and then hopefully we get Ninjago on Friday. I feel bad for the minecraft lovers though, they’re still hung out to dry as well.

This shouldn’t be as funny as it is! 
Yes, Ras and Raz are different characters. There’s Lord Ras, the Chima looking dude with the big hammer, and then there’s Raz, which according to the magazine leaks is actually the triceratops dudes, but I’m waiting to see official confirmation on that part.

A bit off topic but does anyone know the UK price of the giant new city centre set that’s coming in June? For the city theme? It’s got a ton of cool building parts that could easily be integrated into a Ninjago city layout. Feel like it could be worth the pickup to support the big markets coming, but obviously budget will be a hard thing to go off.
