This set getting revealed through a retailer also means it's not LEGO-exclusive, which means that Nya will be widely available. Still sucks that only in a 4+ set tho.

It's a really good 4+ set imo. The minifigures all look great, and the builds aren't particularly bad either (although the dragon's lower jaw is just... yikes).

I don't care too much about this set since it's 4+, but I will say the minifigures are pretty interesting. I feel like the hood part looks a little bit too much like a helmet (more for Nya than Arin) but otherwise they are great. The new lower mask part is especially cool, I like that it will presumably work well whether you are using a character's hair or hood.

I'm digging the new ninja masks! Like the Ninjago Movie-era masks, they're two pieces, but unlike those, it looks like using just the bottom half will look better as a mouth covering only. Hopefully they work with a variety of hairpieces!

Looks like I'll be picking up that 4+ set. As I've wanted that new ball joint pin part and this appears to have 2-3 of them. Plus a way to get the new Nya variant for my collection.

I realized recently that with Lego 2k drive coming out on the 19th they'll probably want to reveal the Ninjago sets at least 3 or 4 days prior to dedicate some days to advertising the games so I think the 12th could be a possible reveal date.

Arin wears bright yellow?! I was expecting flame yellowish orange, it rarely looks good when a minifig is wearing clothes the same colour as thier skin tone. Looks like he has a bare arm for example.

His suit is clearly darker than his skin.

The suit is 'bright light orange'.

Yeah that looks like "Axl" (nexo knights) flame yellow orange , but I remember there being more confusion around that color for a City crane in the past.

In my case even in set 11027: Creative Neon Fun , at first I thought the parts would be Bright orange before seeing the product IRL, but are actually flame yellow, a lot of matter of contrast and how it's used among other colors.

I love the baby dragon, about time with that piece. The bad guys look interesting. However the new ninja outfits.... nope. The neck piece is ok because it still looks like cloth, just too much of it. The head piece looks like a helmet, it just doesn't work. The torso designs might work when I see all of them.

We got an update on the show fellas- it’s going to be divided into 2 chapters, each 10 episodes each. So 20 episodes of 22mins, which would be the longest season yet. I’m assuming the other chapter will focus on Jay Cole and zane and will end with the whole team meeting up. This does mean however that we will probably be getting chapter 2 in October or something which I’m not too excited about.
