syzygy87 Posted November 30, 2022 Author Posted November 30, 2022 Wow, just like that? Thanks a lot! :) Quote
Milan Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I wouldn't say it was "just like that", as it is a beautiful model, and it sure took quite some to sculpt Quote
syzygy87 Posted November 30, 2022 Author Posted November 30, 2022 Yes, sure it took a while ;) I meant that no one praised, no one commented and here suddenly - the frontpage ;) Quote
Jdrewg Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 I love it! You captured it so well I get paranoid just looking at it! Quote
Bricky Steamboat Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Nee-Naw! Great effort. Will be buying the 'structions. Quote
weavil Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 Great detail. Love the details. Just don't let the Blues Brother get a hold of it! Quote
BrickWild Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 I'm speechless over the great detail! Quote
gyenesvi Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Great idea and nice implementation, I especially like the interior color! Only thing I wonder is why you didn't use the fenders from the Camaro? It looks like a better fit in shape, and this grey color pops out too much for me. Quote
Aleh Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 (edited) What a beauty! It smells from Americans 80-90x.. Edited December 1, 2022 by Aleh Quote
Skylark90 Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Fabulous! And these movable armrests - like a cherry on the top of the very tasty cake :) Great model! Quote
J.V.D. Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 mmm... I am missing a bag with doughuts somewhere.. Great job, nice details.. Quote
syzygy87 Posted December 1, 2022 Author Posted December 1, 2022 Thank you all very much for your kind words! 10 hours ago, gyenesvi said: Only thing I wonder is why you didn't use the fenders from the Camaro? In the original car the fenders are silver, so in mine they are gray - they pretend to be silver :) I found it important to preserve this detail. However, in the original car, the silver stripe on the fenders is much more subtle - that's for sure :) considering the shape indeed these fenders from the Camaro would be better.... Quote
LordsofMedieval Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Wow, this is really cool. Aside from the obvious fact that it's in CHP livery, I'm getting some serious Blues Brothers vibes here. Quote
BrickWild Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 Now how about building a Taxi version? ;-) Plenty of yellow pieces available! Quote

That's some idea - I haven't built a taxi yet :) But I think I would choose a different car to make the task more creative :) Any ideas? Edited December 2, 2022 by syzygy87 Quote

Paperinik77pk Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Great great job, you succeded in rendering the grille, the rear lights, the overall proportions...and lot of details. Well deserved front page!!! Quote
firefabric Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Really nicely done! It's an unusual subject but that's a good thing, it doesn't have to be a supercar to look cool. Very clean build and looks pleasing, excellent work! Quote
syzygy87 Posted December 8, 2022 Author Posted December 8, 2022 Thank you once again! Yes, it's no supercar, but it's a pretty recognizable vehicle :) A lot of people build supercars, I rather look for cars that are less popular, but also attractive :) Quote
