functionalTechnic Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Hi After bricking bavaria 2022 I could finish my trailer with remote controlled sliding curtains, landing legs and parking brake. the mechanism of the sliding curtains works with one PU L motor for each side and two winches at the front and rear of the trailer. Over the winches a cable runs trough the floor of the trailer which pulls the sliding curtains. I'm really happy how the mechanism works :) But check it yourself in the video: The instruction for the model can be found here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-130914/FT-creations/trailer-with-sliding-curtains/#details And some renders because I could not make any resonable pictures until now: Quote
1gor Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) trucks, trucks...and whenever i hoped for tires that could enable mr to make 1:16.5 scaled MOCs (to fit perfectly with trucks based on ideal truck tire 62.4), i ended up disappointed with Lego tire choice... Simon, both truck and trailer are great Edited January 28, 2023 by 1gor Quote
pow Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 (edited) motorized curtains? no way! and that you managed to use liftarms and technic stuff everywhere (except a few spots) for the exterior is very consistent. Edited December 7, 2022 by pow Quote

Yes, it is sad LEGO pushes so hard the 15 wide scale. Altought, it's also cool having several models in the smaller scale. 2 hours ago, pow said: motorized curtains? no way! and that you managed to use liftarms and technic stuff everywhere (except a few spots) for the exterior is very consistent. Yes, it was challanging to get the symmetries all over the trailer and having everything still working as planned. Quote

Yes, it is (something like) 1:21 scale, which gives very limited choice what to build...telehandlers are not possible if you want motorized functions, etc... Quote
functionalTechnic Posted January 27, 2023 Author Posted January 27, 2023 (edited) Hi guys A further video about the functionality of my trailer: Edited January 27, 2023 by functionalTechnic Quote
1gor Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 Always nice to see this telehandler of yours... IMHO telehandler is (still) the star in this video Quote
