I've been working on my second real MOC for a bit. My own take on the Batboat It's not finished but I wanted to show what I've got so far and ask for any feedback or suggestions on what I can add to it

Update #1: Scrapped all I had was just too narrow to be made any taller to have a windscreen close down. Struggling to figure out what to do with front now. Taking suggestions

Hmm. Your first design has some excellent ideas like that bat wing piece at the back and the overall cockpit shaping, but I think re-doing it was the right move. The first design does look a little bit like a batwing. For the Batboat I would keep the footprint you currently have, and bring the rear-center batwing back from iteration 1, between those two new bits you've got on each side of the back (which look good). I would kill the "wings" though, as like I said I think they look a little like a batwing.

For the main area I see two moves. Either widen your original cockpit design or re-use the same cockpit width (maybe with a trans-black canopy instead of trans-clear) and have it slope back up on the sides. I might do some stud.io drafts and post them here later if you want me to try and explain my ideas more visually, since I don't think that last sentence was very clear.

Thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it. If you end up doing that I'd definitely be interested in seeing it I tend to be more visual when it comes to these things

Update #2: Last update for a bit while I get more parts, I think I have the basic body shape down and now just have to fill it out

I really like how from the top down it looks like a bat head in a way

Very nice, I like seeing the process behind it here, and think it turned out well as a sleek, small batboat.

Why thank you very much that means a lot coming from someone who makes amazing MOCs themselves
