December 29, 20222 yr Welcome to the forum @brick_models! Looking forward to see more. Also already have seen you on Instagram (@L.Simplexity). Hope you find some great inspiration and techniques here. But from what I've seen so far, you already have a clear image in your head on how you want to do it.
December 30, 20222 yr Quite the hull you've created. Can't wait to see the finished work (or more WIP).

The End ...... If unsure, you can go to training ground for new members here-click and practice your posting pictures skills. I started with the HMS Victory in June 2020. I abandoned the first attempt. I didn't get any further with the construction of the hull. I didn't have a proper template. For the second attempt I bought the book The 100-Gun Ship Victory, Antomy of the ship. With the blueprints, the construction of the Lego ship could be done. A new update from the build of my moc, HMS Victory. My moc will have a full interior. You can see that well in the photo. And a few more photos of the inside. View into the lower gun deck of HMS Victory.
January 2, 20232 yr Author Every ship has a galley and needs an open one to make food for the hungry crew. On HMS Victory there is the so-called Brodie stove.

January 2, 20232 yr It's going to be a great ship! The interior is very detailed and interesting. The Brodie stove is very well built after the original. We are very happy to see continuous photos of the different construction phases.
January 4, 20232 yr Ambitious project, great progress so far! What's the length of the gundeck in studs going to be?
January 4, 20232 yr OMG ! What an amazing start ! We want all the photos ! Full details ! More, please, more ! That's great, a true masterpiece. Hats off !

January 23, 20232 yr Author New Update At the moment I am only making progress in small steps. I'm looking at the details and thinking about whether the construction is going in the right direction. For example, I started to build the figurehead. It is still a prototype! It's not the right colours yet. When I feel that I am satisfied, then the figurehead will be built in the final colours. I am very curious about your opinion. On 1/4/2023 at 6:27 PM, Achilles099 said: Ambitious project, great progress so far! What's the length of the gundeck in studs going to be? I didn't count the studs. but the scale is 1:42. I would have to count the studs. On 1/4/2023 at 8:35 PM, Professor Thaum said: OMG ! What an amazing start ! We want all the photos ! Full details ! But there will definitely be more photos. On 1/5/2023 at 7:58 AM, Roadmonkeytj said: Quote This is excellent... One thing grossly overlooked in most models Thank you very much. I want to depict as many details as possible on the ship.
January 23, 20232 yr Author A few more photos of different stages of construction. A view of the orlop deck. A view of the orlop deck. The Weapons locker on the orlop deck.
January 26, 20232 yr Author A few more photos of the new ship's stern of HMS Victory in minifigure scale. I have rebuilt the ship's stern in the last few days. I didn't really like the first version. The first attempt was mainly based on slopes.

February 2, 20232 yr The keel and hull look fantastic and the size is most impressive! I am really curious to see more of your project in the future. The minifigures look tiny. I guess that's what i felt when i was a child my family and me visited England for holidays and we went to Portsmouth and of course visited the HMS Victory
