Sounds too good to be true, but we shall see. If true, it'd be quite humous how we only got 4 unique characters across 5 sets this year, but at least 3 new ones across 2 sets next year

Maybe we'll get Knuckles in one of the first 2 2024 sets and then Shadow and Rouge in the summer wave

I would loe that! But i don’t think the mysterious Space CMF Series will be Sonice Series tho.

I don’t think that’s a new hand mold, it looks to me more like a ‘glove’ type piece that goes over a normal hand. Similar to this piece but with spikes;

We’re getting a Sonic polybag next year with the number 30676  No info regarding the contents, but I guess we can expect Sonic, an animal friend, plus a sidebuild of sorts

I wonder how they'll do him. As I tried making Orbot using Cubot's design but there are no good 1x1 dome pieces for his bottom half.

I'd be curious to see concepts for Orbot. I've tried making him, but it's tough. Cubot was very clever but he works because he is, well, a cube. But Orbot isn't, so sharp edges for clips feel wrong. Cubot also hunches over, but Orbot stands upright, so swapping the build 1:1 but changing out the pieces for round ones doesn't feel quite right. Then it's hard to find small bowl/dome/sphere which look good or to avoid using pieces with sharp corners. I wonder if there is a new piece scheduled for next year (Lego has been introducing a lot of new tiles and round parts) before they put Orbot in a set.

 

Oh, and the Death Egg set is great. I picked that up a couple of weeks ago.

I have the Workshop, and despite the price hurting my wallet I do actually quite like it! The Tornado is a fun build and the workshop has some nice colour to it. Despite the price and piece count the set itself feels substantial. Sonic and Tails are also just wonderfully conceived figures, and Tails' twin tail piece is just so freaking cute.  I'm smitten by the inclusion of the mint candies, which are Tails' favourite snack.

I love my death egg Robot, the only one of the wave I have so far ( but even if had the others to compare I'm sure it would come out on top!).

Did I read correctly that Knuckles, Shadow and Rogue are all rumored for the winter 2024 wave? Was it one of the 'proven' leakers? Almost sounds too good especially if it's just a small wave like I'd heard before!

I remember hearing the two sets with Knuckles, Rouge, and Shadow were coming January next year, so there's still room for a summer wave!

Considering the piece count I imagine we'll likely get Knuckles with some kind of Angel Island scenery. Something small but still playable.

Calling it now, the Rouge and Shadow set will include a brick built E-123 Omega as the main build. 276 pieces is just enough to create something out with him and also include Team Dark.

I don't know if it was one of the so called 'proven' leakers who first said it but it's now been reiterated ( with set details) by reliable sources.

Based of how the sonic sets are numbered, it seems like if there is a summer wave it is 3 sets. (Expect if they are under a different numbering)

That's interesting to know, thank you. Quality over quantity anyway I'd rather fewer high quality sets anyway.
