Honestly, having seen the Ninjago mechs makes this one so much worse. The Ninjago ones are both cheaper and better looking, they put this one to shame. Oh well, I don't care much for Rouge and I'm sure Knuckles will show up somewhere else. Maybe I'll try to get the Master Emerald by itself, whether on Bricklink or B&P.

Its's strange I can see how this is objectively an ugly mech but I guess I'm so excited for the figures I almost turn the other cheek. The builds are weak but I think Rouge and Knuckles look incredible. Just wish they'd release the wing piece from the Vidiyo dragon, in purple. If they ever produce another Rouge I'd hope they'd give her the larger wing piece as this one looks teeny tiny on her lol.

Having bought the Knuckles set with a discount, I need to say, beyond the figs it truly is as bad a set as it looks. I feel like there are few sets that don't surprise me with fun building techniques or something, but this set has none ;_;.

Pretty excited for summer sets. I hope LEGO give us more new characters in the coming sets, especially villains like Chaos.

I'm hoping one of them includes the Chaotix, they seem cool enough to be made into minifigures

How many of the mini animal friends from Sonic have been released so far in all of the sets?

I counted 8: rabbit, pink bird, pig, blue bird, turtle, white bird, black bird, dog (?).

Am I missing anyone?

Aside from the repeats in a few sets, I'm pretty sure that's all of them

I thought the "dog" was supposed to be a squirrel ("Ricky"), but doing some research it looks a little bit more like the bear ("Becky")? We did get the turtle from Sonic 2 so I guess it would be possible to get another animal from that game even if the Sonic 1 bunch is much more iconic...either way this is my least favorite of the animals so far.

I want one set based on Sonic Movie 1: Dr. Robotnik's trailer. The trailer should be large enough to fit the Prototype plane and could be used to faithfully recreate the famous dance scene. Minifigures included: Dr. Robotnik, Agent Stone and Major Bennington (Nobody cares!!!). Wouldn't that be great?

Maybe Ok, this actually sounds pretty good. Hopefully the knuckles set is a better build this time around, also very happy to see that the Master Emerald is coming in another set. Not expecting much from the boat honestly.

Very exciting to finally see Super Sonic though! Not surprised he's in the most expensive set, but what does surprise me is the subject matter. I quickly looked up the Egg Drillster, and I can't imagine how Lego could manage to make a $100 set from that thing. Maybe it's like the $100 set from last year, and it has a lot of terrain bits? On the subject of Super Sonic, I'm expecting him to reuse the shadow head piece, since they have similar shaping.

As for any other new figs we might get, no clue. Maybe Big the Cat is fishing with Tails on his boat

Very nice guess! Even if this is wrong, I think Tails' boat will be my favourite.

Hmmm... will they do a new mould for Super Sonic or just recolour something?

Egg Drillster will be cool, as I only know Sonic 1 and 2 (vaguely Sonic 3), so fun to have that in the range. It's pretty small, so it suggests a decent amount of Green Hill Zone to go along with it. Kind of a shame that they're not expanding to other levels.

honestly i think i am content with how my display looks set wise. I have the ideas set, the eggman mech, shadow bike, and tails plane, cant really think of anything else it needs. So from now on i think new characters is all i want, so hoping for at least 1 or two this wave! my big want is metal sonic
