With their 30th anniversary coming in 2025, could we finally see Team Chaotix get the minifigure treatment?

As long as the line is popular enough then I imagine we'll get them eventually. I imagine Vector would probably need to be handled like Robotnik though.

Hopefully we hear news on Summer 2025 Sonic sets soon.

There is no denying that they aren't as popular as Sonic or Shadow but I think there is still a big enough fanbase for them to show up in the theme at some point

I suspect that they'd finish team Rose before starting in team Chaotix. I mean Big is one of the biggest characters left unmade. And cream is as likely as any Chaotix member.

It's actually the same size as a standard minifig head hole. So it's to pose him looking upward.

Also still hoping we get an Omega to finish Team Dark first. The one I made is pretty good. But I'd love to see how Lego handles one.

I wonder how they‘d realise him. The likeliest outcome is probably an Eggman-type solution with a new torso & head piece, combined with existing arm and leg pieces ^^

I have a feeling they might tackle characters like Silver and Cream first though, since they‘re much easier to do  Or werewolf Sonic. Or even better, Ugly Sonic.

I think it's not entirely a popularity concern and more that the theme as a whole would likely have originally being scheduled for three years.

• 2023: Sonic, Amy, Tails, Robotnik
• 2024: Shadow, Rouge, Knuckles, Super Sonic
• 2025: Super Shadow, Metal Sonic

So we're probably going to get two more figures in the second half of the year. In my view this would be: Big The Cat (Big Fig) and Cream the Rabbit (Minifigure) If we're very lucky then they could also include Cheese (Molded piece), Omega (Brick-Built) - meaning by the end of the third year we'd have all of Team Sonic, Team Rose and Team Dark.

2026 would be my view of when we'll get a chance at characters like Silver, Blaze, Super Silver, The Chaotix. Unless ofcourse they go CMF option in which case they could easily give us a majority of Sonic characters.

That's pretty neat, interesting feature to have. I suppose it'd play into the idea of him being a robot and could portray him flying with his head pointed upwards/forward.

Uh, no. The TLBM Killer Croc is cool but very much not vector, besides they'd have to remake the mould by now so they might as well make a new purpose made one.

True, but given how the Sonic theme has been a hit for so many people, I personally believe they will start to slowly increase the amount of characters we get each year

I don‘t remember Vector being a hulking behemoth towering over all the other characters  I think he could be realised as a normal minifig.

I think either that or a molded head similar to this one (fitting snugly over a minifigure neck attachment to allow for a more hunched appearance) would be good solutions.

So yea not gonna be getting this Metal Sonic. 

Lego didn't even line up the printing for the intake and engine. The back printing should be much higher.

Praying he get's a way better Minifig in a future set.

Disappointed Lego have not fixed the printing issue of the print colour getting altered by what they are printing onto, especially given some of the insane prices we've seen in other themes sets. Lego's earning enough where we should'nt be getting products that don't match the product shots, it's misleading.

Yeah, the back print needed to be higher up. It's supposed to be his body is effectively a jet engine, so the intake and outtake should be the same level.

I'm not sure if they'll fix that in future sets as it'd require a new back print as the 'fin' print above the outtake of the jet engine is where the outtake would need to be if they were going for accuracy.

That doesn't entirely surprise me... the Shadow one seemed to mostly be made to tie in with Sega's "Year of Shadow" (headlined by the new Sonic Movie and the Sonic & Shadow Generations game).

I still think we'll get one eventually, best to capitalize on the displayable heads line by at least doing Sonic to go alongside Shadow. Even if we do get a bit of a gap between releases; Similar to how we had Venom (April 2021), Carnage (May 2021) and then a Spider-man (Jan 2024) and now potentially a Miles Morales Spider-man head (2025?).

I think it would've been better to MOC it. TLG cannot do justice to such a complex and visually fragile combat mech. Besides, it's GIGANTIC. Imagine how much such a set would cost. Sonic sets are already among the most expensive
