Couldn’t find anything under Sparkle yet! Please merge or delete of there is already  a post on this!

sooo a new licenced theme with codename sparkle showed up. 4 sets. 4+. 

My guess is that this related to a movie? Like they did for The Incredibles?!?

Any kid movie coming out soon that might be interesting in lego form? Can’t wait to find out!

Hmmm i tought these would be dreamzzz. You think sparkle might be the codename for Dreamzzz? That’s possible!

Maybe it's the rumoured Legend of Zelda theme? Assuming that's coming anytime soon, or at all, now Sonic The Hedgehog is confirmed.

You mean dreamzzz is zelda or sparkle? Sparkle is 4+…

Probably CoComelon or Peppa Pig then. Unless Lego got the Paw Patrol licence.. Dunno, is there a new Trolls or Minions movie/series coming?

I don’t believe any trolls or minions movies are coming out soon. I think paw patrol is owned by spinmaster and i think mega makes de brick sets (duploish). I might be wrong.

Yeah! I am browsing illumination and disney movies coming out summer 2023. The one that stands out to me is Disney Elemental?!?

Well, for all we know, it could be Lego sets based off the Disney original, super kitties, while it’s not much, that would get us a step closer to Lego the owl house 🤣

Lego said they were still collaborating with universal music group after the acid dumpster fire trip that was vidyo, so could still be dreamzzzzz

Personally, I’d guess Sesame Street or Winnie the Pooh. Both have had a large 18+ Ideas set, so lego has their foot in the door on the licensing, but both themes are geared towards a much younger audience than the Ideas sets were made for. If the rumors about sparkles being an animated license is true I could easily see it being Winnie the Pooh.

It'd be so awesome if it was Bluey! Especially if it was minifig based. Though Bluey would finally convince me to grudgingly experiment with Duplo.

Winnie The Pooh would be awesome too! There's so many characters and locations we still need. I remember when Disney admitted that Winnie The Pooh was more popular than Mickey and Friends a few years ago, so I'm sure it would sell well.

Honestly, I don’t think Winnie the Pooh would really work in 4+, now, bluey on the other hand definitely captures the 4+ market

The more I think about it being 4+, the more I expect it to be a franchise that doesn't interest me. But worst case scenario, maybe it'll be like Star Wars, Harry Potter and Marvel where I have no interest in the theme; but still buy lots of the sets for useful parts or to adapt the builds for my own MOC themes etc.

Huh, you're right! I thought that movie was scheduled for next year. "Sparkle" being Trolls 3 is definitely plausible then  The second movie mostly had 6 or 7+ sets, but a 4+ range could work too.

I thought Trolls didn't sell well at all? It certainly didn't sell well in my area, that's for sure.

If this "Sparkle = Trolls 3" rumor does turn out to be true, this is like hitting your hand with the hammer while trying to hit the nail, and then doing it over again EXACTLY at least one more time the same way to see if it would hurt worse. Nobody does this on purpose.... (well, there are some people out there who might, but I doubt an entire company would!) It certainly sounds like a bad idea to me... the Trolls minifigs weren't even really compatible with regular figures! (weird headgear, for example)

Interesting… and most molds are already made… a good way to make them profitable… i am sure they would sell well/ok  in 4+ sets. And we’d get printed pieces instead of stickers..:)

Yeah honestly I thought the trolls line would have worked better as duplo sets , the mini figs are more like their shape ! I do like the balloon set though

I wouldn‘t rule Trolls 3 out just on the grounds that the 2020 sets apparently didn‘t do so well. Licensed themes based on upcoming movies are cross-promotional after all, so Universal might have an incentive to push for more sets  Also, this might be a contractual thing. Wouldn‘t be the first time a theme was birthed from contractual obligations (see Prince of Persia)

Probably not, as the Nickelodeon licenses are still with Mega, if I’m not mistaken. Besides, I doubt they’d release a 4+ TMNT range

Just because one company has a license doesn't mean the license is exclusive. Playmobile and LEGO have the Ghostbuster license for example.

I think it might be Disney and or pixar theme - after all Incredibles and the toystory 4 sets were 4+.

And in the Disney thread @falconfan1414 said this. - I’ll help out here. Disney isn’t complete in a couple different ways. There will be more and some codenames are subject to change -
