Other regret of mine is that bar for Andrew, the likeness of the other two spidermen isn't really there (imo). totally agree with all of this. It'll be good to get on sale, but a smaller scaled statue with a larger segment of it would have been nice, just her head looks weird. As for the figs, I've said before I'm happy to get any alternate head/hair, though they should have used other hair for Tobey. The one thing that really annoys me figure wise is goblin, who just doesn't do it for me. Hair's too dark (He's supposed to be a redhead, isn't he?), needed leg printing, and DEFINATELY needed a cloth piece, the purple print looks so weird when it just cuts off to a green arm.

As cool as Dafoe’s likeness is on the face print, man am I (still) so bummed out at how much they dropped the ball with the minifigure otherwise. But overall, I feel like this theme is just so unpredictable, and shortcuts are incredibly prevalent. Even 2021, which I think was one of this theme’s all-time high points with the first Infinity Saga wave and the Daily Bugle, wasn’t really exempt from this. Superheroes just seems to be working with more limitations and baffling decisions than any other licensed theme. I really hope we do see some Spider-Verse sets next year, but even if we do, I’ll keep my expectations in check knowing how things operate with Lego Marvel. Edited June 18, 2023 by Kaijumeister

Like at most it would look like a wolf with grey furr wearing grey clothes. Not much different to White Vision. Because he's not supposed to look gray, he's supposed to look brown. It'd be like having a black and white Wanda lined up next to regular MCU figures. It doesn't match and would look out of place and unlike Wanda, I don't forsee getting many Werewolf-By-Night minifigs and certainly not anytime soon so I'd hate to have the potentially only minifig of him to not work in a display of other supernatural Marvel minifigs. Like I'm not going to tell you what you should like or not, I just don't see the point of getting a minifigure that doesn't look like the character we saw in the movie.
Legocentrico Posted June 18, 2023 Posted June 18, 2023 (edited) I just watched the Tower video, and Brick Clicker shows Hulk from Age of Ultron. As always I don't understand what he says :-D is it confirmed that it will be the version in the set??? Or is it just an indicative image? Edited June 18, 2023 by Legocentrico
neithan Posted June 18, 2023 Posted June 18, 2023 He says it will be an exclusive bigfig because of a new print (he didn`t specify it anymore). So the bigfig you saw in the video was like all other figs he showed just a placeholder. :-)
:-) thanks friend! yes I understood that it's just a placeholder, but other youtubers have also used Hulk age of ultron and I was wondering if there was any new information. All the better, I still hope it's Hulk 2012 :-)

I mean... Not to mention probably the best hope to repair White Vison.
SpiderFan44 Posted June 21, 2023 Posted June 21, 2023 Kraven trailer is out, and at first sight it seems kinda good. Very mature content, but if we get a comic-inspired wave with Across the Spider-Verse characters we could see him as a vilain (kinda like what they did with the Automorbile), just wishlisting I know, but it could be cool.

I almost think the movie will mean Kraven's odds of showing back up are going to go down. We haven't seen a wide-release deadpool since his movies, despite the fact that the character prints money and X-men are popping back up. Kraven's about to be very well-known, whether as a morbius type film or a good one, as an R-rated character.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but reading back I do feel like I made the distinction that kraven wouldn't show up because he's starring in an R-rated movie.
Agent Kallus Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 Arrr it be arr rated, yo-ho you scurvy seadogs. But if the set isn't based on the movie does the rating matter anyway? What about the loose tye ins from the suicide squad movie?

And we haven’t seen loose tie in sets since, have we? Only those and the Blackbird when DoFP came out. Edited June 22, 2023 by psqidexslizer
Legocentrico Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 (edited) a list of alleged set 2024 on insta 76275 $10 76277 $15 76279 $30 76280 $35 76281 $80 76282 $55 76285 $70 Edited June 22, 2023 by Legocentrico
BrickBob Studpants Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 Hm, noteworthy lack of mechs, unless there are some multipacks on that list Hopefully the lineup includes some Infinity Saga sets, just like this January

Mandalorianknight Posted June 22, 2023 Posted June 22, 2023 I dunno, this one doesn't do it for me. Obviously the web pattern can't be put along the entire thing, but having it just on a segment of the face is weird, and something about his positioning just feels off. I'd rather have a spider-man 3-in-1 mosiac like they did for iron man or batman, where you could do, say, his mask, Ben's mask, or Miles's mask with a combiner for a swinging spider-man.
spiderfan2000 Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 I'm definitely hoping we get at least a couple more comic Spider-Man sets next year with new character inclusions. I wonder if there's a chance of getting another Spider-Man D2C for 2024 considering it would mark three years since the release of the Daily Bugle, considering how well that set seemed to sell.
Agent Kallus Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 So Spidey and Batsy are the biggest heroes from each brand, and it seems Spider-Man got the better D2C but Batman got the better Art set.
PsychoBuilder Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 So uh, anyone got any guesses as to what Iron Man suits we’ll be seeing in the tower?

Couldn't agree more. The bugle is an incredible set, and the batman art set is literally made by Jim Lee. On the other hand, the batcave is overpriced and missing the charm of the bugle's comic inspiration and massive figure selection, and the spider-man art set feels weird and less like art. They should have gotten Mr. Romita Jr to do it.
