I went to check out Hasbro's X-Jet 97 and it actually is a single seater, with a cabin, two engines and two small wings. Nothing to do with Blackbird. From this point of view the number of pieces is ok, the price is still high but it shouldn't seem disproportionate! As I said, the minifigures will decide the success or failure of the set

If Rockets Warbird set is confirmed to be Infinity Saga and not Guardians 3 could it just be a remake of the 2014 comic con exclusive set?

Additional info suggests it’s a straight remake with Ronan as an additional minifigure. So… called it I guess.

Where are you seeing the stuff about Ronan? I haven't seen that anywhere.

The SDCC set had 145 pieces and the upcoming one has 290 so its double the number of pieces. I'm imaging it will be something similar to the ship in the ravager attack set. Maybe a bit bigger or with a side build.

Palnet was the source given on the info I have seen.

Anyone able to decipher what the 24 builds in the Advent Calendar are?  They didn't post a picture that shows all the builds like they did for the other 4 calendars.  They only posted 2 that show about half the contents that you can see in a few of the other pictures but nothing with all the builds lined up other than the lifestyle ones which are kind of hard to decipher all the builds from the box art.  I'm only coming up with 19-20 separate builds but they are probably splitting a few into more days than they should again.

7 minifigs, tree, train, fireplace, table with food, Hockey parts, reindeer, gold spider webs, wrapping station, snowman, green throne, ice sculpture?, red spacecraft, work table with toolbox, some other pedestal by Dr. Strange.  So that makes 21 I can see.

This is the correct answer.

Or maybe it's based on fan favourite character Corn of Coblin

He deserves a D2C, not a $34.99 set.

Maybe, MAYBE for Mk1, but they'd need to do a new mold for the rest of the bots for the other leg.

I wonder if there's any chance of the September 2024 CMF series being a third Marvel Disney+ series.  That might be the only way LEGO could try catching up with how quickly new content has been coming out, unless they start making sets for the live-action shows.

I like the marvel cmfs don't get me wrong but I think that'd be too much too soon. Variety is the spice of life and all that.

The May CMF is titled "Space." Assuming it's not a licensed theme, I imagine the September CMF will be licensed, but I'm hesitant for the time being that the next licensed series would also be Marvel. It's not impossible; it's been done before, but it's still a little too early to know for sure.

Also, is there another thread for CMFs? I'm not sure if discussion can be expanded further in this thread or another.

While I'd welcome another Marvel series next year, I think it'll likely be 2025 when Series 3 hypothetically releases. By then they'll have another 4 or so live action shows to cover (Ironheart, Agatha, Daredevil, maybe Wonder Man) as well as a handful of animated shows. Next year just wouldn't have enough new content to support a full series (unless they went back and gave us some missing characters form Series 1 & 2, which I'd also be fine with)

Yeah, I was thinking that some characters that got skipped over in Series 1 and 2 should have an opportunity to get released, which I don't think would happen if there's only a 12 minifigure series once every two years (and a couple occasional sets for animated shows)  Heck, the Ms. Marvel and Secret Invasion shows got skipped entirely!

Now that we finally have close ups of the minifigs:

-She Hulk does go extremely hard, I might actually get her

-Goliath I have no attachment to, but he looks like a cool astronaut, which is good enough for me

-I know this is not the case, but it looks like Echo is holding a toliet plunger.

-Agatha I don't care about, and the Werewolf should've been in black and white.

-Moon Knight looks pretty good. Didn't love the show, but I might get the minifig.

-I just don't like Mr Knight's design. I think it's tacky, but that's not the minifigure fault he does look like in the show.

-How could anyone pass on the chance of owning an official Jeremy Renner minifigure to post it on the official Jeremy Renner app? #JeremyRennerSweep

-Kate looks good enough

-I do not care  for any of the X-men, but Beast looks funny in those glasses so I want him now

I truly appreciate the chaotic energy you bring to this forum.

Personally, I'm very excited for this series! I think they almost all look great (Beast is just okay to me, he looks so goofy) and Goliath is the only character I'm not excited for since we haven't seen him anywhere yet.

Buildable No Way Home Goblin sounds so cool and has the potential to be the best buildable figure yet. Don’t mess this up Lego please

Mtdbricks suggests that Doc Ock and Goblin in the small Spider-Man sets are Venomized. It would be interesting… (he had anticipated the No Way Home set a few days before the list, so I'm starting to take seriously what he publishes)

Venomised Spidey, venomised Iron Man, venomised Spider-Ham, venomised Groot, and now these two. When do we finally get a venomised Venom?! :laugh_hard:

Seriously though, as much as we all like to beat that dead (venomised) horse, these don‘t sound bad! Better than the 15th regular versions anyway

I hope with all these venomised characters we’ll eventually see symbiote spider-man. Probably my most wanted spidey version

I wonder if we'll ever get a Symbiote Spider-Man.

Surprised they still haven't made one after the SDCC figure. Now seems to be the perfect time to make it, with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 hype.

LEGO seems to really love Venom, bit they still haven't capitalised on characters like Agent Venom or Anti-Venom.

Exactly!

LEGO sembra amare davvero Venom, ma non hanno ancora capitalizzato personaggi come Agent Venom o Anti-Venom.

Even bigfig venom is missing, and with the new Thanos mold it would be so simple…

I hope Rocket’s Warbird comes with my favorite GotG villain: Venomized High Evolutionary. 😝

I might sound like a broken record regarding big figs but I personally think both of those characters would look better as regular minifigs.

I get it. And I half agree with you, but who knows how LEGO feels/thinks we feel

I think colossus def would be better as a minifig, but juggernaut would be pretty good as a bigfig

I wholeheartedly agree :sweet:

Personally, I’d rather have a really detailed, well-done Blackbird over a bigfig of Juggernaut or Colossus.
I think the most likely case scenario here is the Blackbird uses a bunch of large pieces, which is why the piece count is so low.

I agree with you on the second point, not sure on the first :innocent:
