NXS7 Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Found the CMF in my local store, so decided to treat myself for my birthday, picked up Beast, Storm, Goliath and Agatha When series 1 was around, I only ever saw them in shops once, and picked up 2 Sylvies (who thanks to the horrible face printing was my least favourite of the series), so glad I didn't pick any spares from my first batch, but now I'm very scared to end up with multiples of these, the only half of the series I care about are the Hawks, Knights, Wolverine & She Hulk

I was mostly after the same as you. Managed to get both Knights and Hawks, Wolverine and Werewolf. I'm looking for She-Hulk and wouldn't mind the other X-Men (more Beast than Storm) but I think I've given up for now. The last few times I've only managed to get repeats. 3 Goliaths, a second Wolverine and Mr Knight, all of which I sold only to then pick up another Mr Knight later that day.
Legocentrico Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 In a whole box I found 4 Beast and 2 Goliath .. even in series 1 I had found a similar error :-p

I do believe the employee told you that, but I genuinely cannot fanthom that being true, it just feels so bizarre. Omw to the store, tho, will update y'all in a bit confirming if this is the case.

The codes for the same Minifig are visibly different, though. 🫤 Edited September 1, 2023 by Classic_Spaceman
Surge Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 managed to get a full set from barnes and nobles. I did weight them and some were a little off, but they all were grouped 3 in a row by character so that made it pretty easy

Legocity2713 Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 (edited) Realized I had the day off so I decided to make a quick run to my local Lego Store. Picked up 12 CMFs, 8 of which were unique, which I don’t think is too bad. Picked from both the top and bottom sections of the box and tried to be a bit random while also thinking back to some of the unboxing videos I’ve watched of this wave. Missing Hawkeye, Storm, Wolverine, and Goliath. Moon Knight is the greatest. Agatha’s printing is a close second. Love Kate Bishop and Beast although the difference in print quality of the duplicate Kate Bishop is insane. She Hulk looks better in person. Instantly gave Mr. Knight’s silver 1x3 sticks to Daredevil. Echo’s great but her hair that makes her head look massive is the weakest part and detracts a bunch from an otherwise stellar figure. The same could be said for Werewolf by Night who I kind of prefer without the hair / ears. Overall, a great wave. Hope it does well enough to get a 3rd Series one day. Rwbricks Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 (edited) Me, my brother, and a friend bought a set of 36 from a fresh box, emptying the contents of the presumed new box. We got: 1 Wolverine 2 Mr. Knights 2 Hawkeyes 2 Goliaths 3 Beasts 3 Storms 3 Kate Bishops 3 Agathas 3 Werewolf by Nights 3 Moon Knights 3 She-Hulks and 8 Echos. That means either we were extremely unlucky, or 3 full sets are not guaranteed. Or there was some cross-contamination with other boxes, which is the likeliest story. I'm hoping to sell 5 sets and keep one for myself. everything I've seen elsewhere suggests its 3 sets per box.
PGBQW Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 I got two random boxes at two random stores and got She Hulk both times. Could be worse, I guess!
Thwip Posted September 1, 2023 Posted September 1, 2023 My Lego store is keeping them behind the counter and limiting to 2 per customer. They gave me 2 Wolverine……..

Better than 2 Echo lol I ordered a full box of 36 from JB Spielwaren so hopefully I'll get 3 of each that I want (Moon Knight,Mr Knight,Wolverine,Beast,Hawkeye,Kate Bishop and Storm)

BnN uses the security stickers so that threw off the weights. I bought 10 and got all but Clint, Goliath, Echo, and Wolverine. I got extras of both Moon Knights. Mr Knights were each different weights, I thought one was possibly a Clint Hawkeye. And both Moon Knights were also not the same weight, I thought one was a Wolverine. Maybe the stickers threw off the weights or maybe I needed to recalibrate… Edited September 2, 2023 by Monkey Joe
Legocity2713 Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 If anybody wants a slightly more comic accurate Lego while still maintaining an MCU flair and only using parts within the CMF - you can flip her torso around (which kind of looks like the crop-top shirt that she has in the comics with the wraps on her arms) + give her Hawkeye’s legs + give her Kate Bishop’s hair. I did this with my duplicate and it really made me love the fig more.
kevkipo Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) Well I just got back from my first hunt, thought I'd have some sort of tactic by picking one from random 3 pack intervals, ended up with 2 out of 3 I didn't want, Echo and Goliath... I'm defenitely not going to keep that up, as soon as MK is on Bricklink I'm copping him. Any tips on getting MoonKnight without a weight? Could give it one last shot... tafkatb Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Well, I have learned my lesson here. I was debating whether I should A.) buy more than I actually wanted and sell/trade the extras, or B.) just buy the specific ones I wanted on the aftermarket. I opted for A and it has been enormously frustrating trying to arrange trades and sales; it would be worth the slightly inflated aftermarket prices just to avoid all of that.

I was just contemplating the same thing, checking BL currently to see if the figures I want have been added yet. The only ones I really want are all three X-Men, and in the end I think they warrant spending a bit more on them, 'cause the risk of getting so many I don't want at all is just too big, I think.
